Forest Escapes Koyna

Very sustainably planned property. Cosiest location, lots of birds in the vicinity..They have taken care of the lighting being very dim in the night ,not harsh and does not disturb the surroundings. They have focus towards reducing waste because they do not provide a lot of plastics in their room service. The cleanliness of the property and the Villa is also amazing and the service and hospitality is good too. Best for families and children. They have ample of outdoor activities too.

This was our second visit with family. The rooms are spacious and clean. Each accommodation type has a pool ***** with a common one. The rooms are equipped with basic tea/coffee facilities. The staff is welcoming and hospitable. The breakfast spread is good; the lunch / dinner menu could have more variety though. Local cuisine was excellent. The place is perfect for spending time with family without the distractions of too many amenities and network.

Good Things - The stay was good The rooms were clean and fresh Service was good , the resort location is excellent and peaceful Bad things - food quality is not good , not worth for the money that they are charging - the road from mail road till resort is worst , you need to have off road vehicle only

It was an excellent stay, clean rooms, good staff and the environment is awesome. Good for family. Location is amid-st nature.

We took a 3 days trip to Koyna and stayed at Forest Escape Resort and stayed for two nights. The drive from Mumbai to Koyna through the Goa highway was very pleasant other than the traffic snarl at Mangaon. The resort is idyllic and situated on the hill side but very close to Koyna river. Our room ( one bedroom and hall) was on the slope and was nice and clean. The counter manager Mr. Jadhav was very pleasant and helped us through the checkin process. Restaurant is good with ample options including local Koyna fish curry. Morning breakfast is excellent. One can do lot of activities including forest walk and half day trip to Koyna dam. Swimming pool is small but well kept. The climate was very pleasant during this time of the year with few spells of rain too. We enjoyed the stay , fresh air and the food.
