Baymont by Wyndham des Moines North

I really enjoyed my stay. We're renovating our home, and the beds are SO comfy while we wait!

Our experience at The Baymont by Wyndham Des Moines North was lousy. Upon arrival the first thing we noticed was the place was filthy. The building fire exit light/sign is missing. There are open outlets with wires hanging. It did not appear to have been vacuumed for a ver long while. The ac unit was damaged. A lamp, tv, microwave, and refrigerator were all plugged into one multi outlet extension cord. The towels smelled like mildew and we had to go down to the desk to get toilet paper and towels. The bathroom had mold in the bathtub. The vent cover was missing from the vent in the bathroom. The door is broken and appears to have been breached, there is no way to secure the door. We would have checked out of the hotel after the first night but they ran our card and charged us for all three nights when we checked in. If I could give a negative rating it would be a negative 5 stars.

This hotel was gross. Dirty wash cloth in the shower, floor not vacuumed-food all over, mirror was disgusting. Watched another guest go up to front desk for towels cause their room had none and they were told they didnt have any towels to give them. DO NOT STAY HERE

We usually love staying at Baymonts, but this one was very disappointing. Our room was dirty, liquor bottle left, floor hadn't been vacuumed, trash behind the night stand, no towels.....no coffee,

There were 2 busted windows on the first floor. When I was talking to the front desk attendant, a customer come out stating that she didn’t have towels in her room. The manager wasn’t on duty to help with any issues.

Nice and clean but I had requested 1st floor room if no elevator ( mobility issues(& this wasn't accommodated and the breakfast was lower than pedestrian

Window stuck open, smoke smell throughout, dirty, NOISY, terrible breakfast. Wont be back.

This roomed worked for a quick one night say on a long road trip. Breakfast was minimal, and the room was dingy but clean enough for one night stay. Biggest let down was no signage at the hotel that the pool was closed. Before telling the kids about swimming, we specifically walked to the pool in the morning to check, and it said opened at 9 am. Turned out it was closed for a chlorine issue. Can’t complain too much it was $80 and we were passing through. But I have stayed at better for the same price.

This was not a place to take my children and did not look like the photos. The carpeting in the hallway and inside the room needed to be vacuumed. The furniture in the room was broken (knobs missing from the dresser) and the tables showed signs of very visible wear and tear (dents, stains). There were no tissues or trash can in the bathroom. The breakfast offered was minimal, and the room it was served in was dirty. The surrounding area was a little sketchy. On a plus side, the beds were clean and comfortable, although I would have liked an extra pillow when requested (I was told there were no extra pillows available). I will say however, the gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and hard working.
