The rooms were clean but the motel is older and a little run down. The owners were a little cranky at times but overall not bad. Beds were hard and the showers weren't great. I’m 5”9’ and o had to bend down to get my head wet. Overall it was just ok but I doubt I would stay again.

I made a reservation for 3 nights and then Hurricane Henry came up the coast. I didn't want to drive in a Hurricane so I called to see what the policy was. Steve the owner couldn't care less. I explained that we are both 70 and were concerned about the drive from Massachusetts and he flippantly said "You should have gotten travel insurance". He wouldn't give us a break so we canceled the trip and lost $250. What a way to do business.

My wife and I booked a stay here for our first getaway to Maine. Our very first time, ever. We got there a bit after 8 PM because of traffic. We were warmly welcome by the young girl working the front desk. Then she showed us our room which was exactly what we saw in the web. It was spotless; immaculate, rather. My wife and I both have worked at hotels so we know how picky people can be. We are not but were greatly satisfied by the cleanliness. The next morning we went downstairs to the breakfast room. Coffee and muffins were fresh and delicious and the lady working the desk at that time was kind enough to listen to our questions and provide us with directions to Freeport and Portland. The team at this property is very nice.

This was a very relaxing stay. It is right on the beach. There is not a coffeepot in every room or a hairdryer, but they have cable TV. We brought our own coffeepot and hairdryer and we were fine,There is also a kitchen available if you just bring your own coffee, and pots and pans for cooking in the motel section as well. If you are looking for a quiet place, with a clean room, hot shower, and right on a quiet beach, this is it. Very close to major attractions and good food. We will be returning!

The property is dated, but that adds somewhat to a kind of charm and rusticness. It is on the water and has a very nice and large patio area on the ocean side. I would definitely stay again. Also, I thought the room rates were reasonable for the area.

I arrived at the Holiday House on a Saturday in July for 4 nights at this Inn facing the ocean. Check-in was friendly and easy. The inn and motel wing are beautiful. The inn part has different size rooms with an ocean view and a nice small breakfast included. Breakfast is in the large dining room of this former home. I had a terrace level room with views and sounds of the ocean. The room was comfortable with a king size bed and inn type decor but needed some upkeep. The Inn is nicely situated in Pine Point and very convenient. Mac’s Deli was really close by to get something delicious to eat on the terrace. The Holiday House is on a quiet part and on the most beautiful section of the beach. It’s close to the Portland Head Light and Kennebunkport. Great vacation choice to really enjoy the ocean and Maine.

This Inn / motel is a throw back in time. Old and needs updating but certainly charming. Mattresses were not the most comfortable. We stayed in the Inn part which faces the ocean. Nice location. Liked the continental breakfast each morning. Not sure I would stay again, but did appreciate the “throw back”.
