The place is run down the bath was disgusting it’s not worth the price charged. Someone needs to see that the place is cleaned right that bath alone is full of germs it needs a good scrubbing

We are going on a road trip, and we have stayed in many hotel during these days. This hotel is the worst one, dirty, super small, and old.

Booked this last minute but the hotel is good and in a great location. Helpful staff with a great sun terrace to have a few drinks in happy hour! A lot of seagulls messing everywhere but that's not the hotels fault, something needs to be done about that problem.

Looks a grand hotel in reception, however the rooms are from the 70s, filthy and uncomfortable and coming away with what I would suggest as flee bites!. Angry aggressive and Rude Staff on the bar after returning from a great evening out who ruined the evening. I would rather sleep on the beach than any of this chains again!

I booked wrong date and staff were so rude about my booking and useless if you was a good nice time don’t come here

Hotel entrance and bars were lovely but unfortunately the first room I was given was damp and filthy, the second was just filthy

Great location and rooms are nice could do with updating a little but can’t complain for the money

The location and stay was good. Can be better off by some refurbishments to the rooms.

A comfortable room with a decent bathroom Yes it's a bit tired and worn in places but it's a fantastic building, amazing interior in the hotel. A good building, bedding fresh and plenty of towels, I didn't use the restaurant but I had a look in while they were getting breakfast ready and the room looked very old world grandeur My room was quiet and spacious

no room services, but the staff is very friendly. The Location is great.

First time at this hotel, the view from the room was stunning, large spacious room, comfy bed very clean. Extremely friendly staff. Would recommend highly to anyone visiting Scarborough
