I have been to the Panorama hotel in Waldenburg twice and I am very disappointed in the treatment we have received. I was visiting my mother in Germany and I wanted to stay with her in this hotel, which is located in a small town. When we arrived it was time to eat, so I asked for a table in the hotel restaurant, which I thought was very nice with its spectacular views. From the reception they told us that there are no tables available, that we had to have reserved before. Then we went without eating until dinner, because everything in the surrounding area turned out to be closed for a holiday. Luckily the hotel gave us a table for dinner. Taking this into account the second time we went we reserved a table and specified that we wanted on the terrace. They told me there was no problem. When we arrived at the restaurant, Mr. Dirk-Uwe Schörner greeted us. He asked me my name and told me that he found my name strange. Then he showed us a table inside the restaurant and I told him that since we have reserved on the terrace, I would like us to sit there. With an unpleasant tone he replied: ”Here you are not allowed to say ”I want”, because then I will tell you that the terrace is closed and let's see what you do. But I will do you the favor of preparing the table.” Which logically made us feel quite bad. But we sat, trying to lighten the mood. Both the Hotel and the restaurant allow pets, at least that's what they say. So I took my dog ​​with us, a little chihuahua. When I let him sit on the chair, the same man came and told me that my dog ​​can't sit on the cushion, that he's bringing me something else. Well, he came back with a piece of kitchen paper, removed the cushion and placed the napkin on the iron railing of the chair and told me that it's better this way. I was wearing a cardigan and I put it as a cushion for my dog, when the waiter came and told me that we had already been told that the dog cannot sit on the cushions. Upon teaching her that she was my cardigan, she simply left without apologizing. I don't understand why they say they allow dogs if they then treat them this way. What should have been a quiet dinner with my mother after a 6-hour trip turned out to be one of the most unpleasant experiences I've had in a restaurant so far. One does not expect this from the service of a 4 star hotel and a relatively expensive restaurant. Well, the biggest surprise was when I wanted to make a claim and it turned out that Mr. Dirk-Uwe Schörner was really the director of the hotel... I spent the night awake because of the bad taste in my mouth. I wanted to run away from this place.

This hotel offers the best service I've ever experienced in all areas. From arrival to departure you will be treated friendly, carefully and constructively, and in advance. We hardly entered the house we were taken off the bags and brought to the room. There was a cream to greet. We lived in a neighborhood that is very beautifully located. The room was huge and very clean and maintained. Here was all thought. There is also a bed-going service, very pleasant. Eating is excellent and breakfast there is a large selection of specialities. The spa is equipped with great swimming pools. It is ensured that the fireplaces are really burning, which is neglected in many hotels. The massages were very pleasant. All in all it was a beautiful stay with the service of the same. I'm definitely coming back.
