After a very long & rainy road trip, we waited (wet) over 3 hrs for our room…Front desk, Hillary asked mgr. Geoff if we could be moved to another available room and he said, NO!
Throughout this process, we repeatedly went back to the desk & spoke to 4 different staff members and were told each time that they were expediting with housekeeping. Finally, after HOURS the last person told us…oh, your room has been ready! Then they couldn’t find our luggage which was put in the back room , upon our initial arrival. Frustrating to say the least.
One bright star in the day was Jacqueline (mgr of F&B) she noticed that we had been sitting for sooo long in the lobby And came over and offered to bring us a glass of water. Due to her kindness, we decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant and she came over again and checked on us & our guests. The front desk staff (especially Geoff) could use a few lessons in hospitality from her. Btw, the food was great at the restaurant.
