Sea Palace Inn

There’s no heat in our room we’ve been switched twice & the only option they gave was to move 2 floors down away from our kids. When booked 2 room. There’s no actual heat in the 1s with the “new” system they have set up. There’s NO wash clothes (they don’t provide those) & 1 of the rooms has no remote for the tv. They don’t try to accommodate & their boss seems to not care once payment has gone through. The employees are nice but the management is trash!!! They have to make a phone call to him for everything & he does not care about his customers & it shows!

The Room was really nice. Great location. The front desk was very friendly and professional.

We made a reservation for 4 people, as soon as we get there he charges us EXTRA for “adding somebody.” SCAMMER. We get in the room, smells strongly of bleach…. but don’t be fooled there is no HOUSEKEEPING. There is numerous things to state. 1. DIRT AND DEAD BUGS stuffed in the windowsill 2. Bed sheets are horribly ripped. 3. Fridge wobbles wherever you walk. 4. Boss scams out throughout the whole night, and stops and harasses you asking for a wristband although he never e en handed them to us. Then, he accuses my friend of being somebody else and makes her pay. 5. 2 flat moldy pillows on each bed 6. Tv has MAXIMUM 2 channels 7. spiders creepy crawling out of the shower 8. outlets suddenly don’t work out of nowhere 9. Lamp only turns on when sat on??? 10. The other lamp gave out first day and couldn’t push through. 11. No body mirror 12. Water is atrocious 13. Security guard waits until 5am and stops you and stalks you and yells at you and shines lights at me for just walking to my room. Very rude and stalkerish. I feel ashamed at this behavior. 14. Walls are so thin, I hear others conversations and other stuff they may be doing… 15. Ants crawling everywhere on the walls. I hope this place shuts down.

We ran out of toilet paper in the middle of the night. We couldn’t shower as there was no hot water. The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable

Very convenient location. Clean. But card key have issue. We wasted sometime waiting for entering the room.

We came for an end-of-summer getaway, but we just happened to hit a rainy couple of days. So even though it was August, we were literally the only guests, I think. So it was definitely quiet, lol. This is an older hotel, so it's certainly not fancy. But what we love about it is how incredibly convenient everything is. Right across the street is a convenience store where we get coffee each morning (the owner is SO NICE). The hotel is a couple short blocks from the boardwalk and the Mexican restaurant Spicy, which I'm obsessed with. If you're with kids it's nice because they have an outdoor pool, plus it's close to the section of the boardwalk where the rides are. There's also parking included. You seriously can't beat the convenience. I will say, though, that this year, in contrast with previous years, the owner sent us about a million emails before and after our stay. I heard from him more than my mother for a while there. They should probably tone down the correspondence, lol.

It was a very clean room, and the check in guy was very nice

Great staff and service. Nice big bathroom, handicapped accessible, however cleaning product used made the floor there slippery, so a bath mat would have been nice and probably super important for any disabled person. Mattress great, nice to have fridge and microwave. We really appreciated being able to park early even on a busy Sunday. Best value around and nicely run convenience store right across! Thanks for everything!
