On arrival, we were shown around the facilities and to our apartment. Our fridge was stocked with a plate of local meats and cheeses, salad, melon and bread rolls. . There was a jug of cold water and white wine and we were offered fruit juice from the machine downstairs. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment on the first floor of the stone house. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfy and we had lots of room including a small balcony. There was an oven, hob and dishwasher if you needed them. They were cleaned every day. The swimming pool was small and quite cool, there were plenty of loungers and towels if needed. The jacuzzi was great and we used it most days. The breakfasts were plentiful and catered for everyone. There were fried eggs, omelette, sausages, fruit, yogurts, salads, meats, crepes, cakes etc. We were given a takeaway plate of cake and croissants every day. We were also cooked a traditional lunch of beef, gnocchi and stuffed peppers, and finished with a plate of fruit, absolutely delicious. The town is very small, the beach was good and safe for swimming, there are 3 restaurants and a couple of bars, 2 supermarkets, a bakery and a little gift place in a hut. The ferry to Trogir was about 15 mins walk away and cost 5€ each way, which can add up. If you like peace and quiet you'll love it. The best part of it all were the lovely staff, who always greeted you with a smile and a warm welcome, and really made you feel at home. We don't usually return to a hotel, but we would definitely come back here.
