Baymont by Wyndham Selma

This was one of the worse Hotels I’ve been in. Ceiling had mildew all across it, bugs on the floor and immediately as you open the door to the room the smell was horrible. The surroundings of the hotel and the hotel itself looked to be very dangerous and easy to break into. Even the front door didn’t close properly. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

We didn't have a reservation and the hotel rep tried really hard to accommodate us. She was helpful and we finally secured a room. However the room was really in poor shape. Beds were clean but nothing worked. A/C was intermittent, TV kept going off, bathroom toilet not secured to the floor, no filter holders were available anywhere for the coffee maker. Breakfast the next am was bare minimum. No one available to check us outside we left the cards and left. So sorry about this accommodation as this is a historic town. Will not return.

It nice room and it has comfortable bed and clean room and they have friendly staff people is work there

Please don't come here, run to another hotel this one is not worth it even though they're reasonable price.

It was the worst experience I've ever had. The bathroom ceiling was peeling. The toilet was disgusting, i had to be my own housekeeper. Money-wise wise i wanted to go to another hotel but since i brought my own cleaning supplies i decided to clean it myself. I had to buy my own sheets, their sheets looked dirty. I spilled some liquid on the floor and when i cleaned it the towel became so dirty from the floor. The fridge was unbalanced and it was about to fall over. I had to switch rooms because the first room the TV wasn't working. There was no latch on the door so i felt unsafe. I had to put a chair on the door so no one could walk in. I will never be coming here again.

Rooms was dirty and bath tub as well..I had a horrible experience and would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Bugs in bathroom n bathtub n bed n on floor. Ceiling falling down . Stains on towels and sheets . Trash all over in parking area. Takes forever to get hot water. Most of lights didn't work.

The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The room was terrible. Internet did not work. The room wad covered in fine layer if dust. The bathroom tile was crumbling. The bed was clean but uncomfortable

We were traveling with a dog and there aren't many hotels in Selma that would accept them so we chose to stay here because it was on our route on a trip. It isn't far off Hwy 80 and there are several buildings. We also had a son with us so we were given two different rooms as we had requested. They weren't in the same building to begin with and they charged us extra for a disabled room (could see no evidence of that although our room had a stove and sink and not a microwave). Our son is an adult so we were somewhat ok with the room locations and they said they were booked up. Then our son went to his room and found that it had not been cleaned and there were items still in the room presumably from the last guest so we went back to the front desk and he was moved to another room right down from us. Then we finally got our tv to work in our room but our son never did. The room was cloean but a bit outdated. There looked like some work had been done but more seems to be needed. Next thing that happened was that the guests in a room done the way (all rooms have doors to the outside) decided to play loud music for a few hours then started back up when they left around 3 am. Thyere is plenty of parking at the hotel and prices are reasonable.
