Its not a HOTEL but HOMESTAY. it's not the same as what you can get in pictures. Anyway the room still clean just way smaller than how you imagine

At best, this can be considered as a chalet. Definitely not a hotel or villa as the name suggested. Free Breakfast is non existing. The room B-01 is not fit to stay as the bathroom door cannot be closed and the constant water sound from the pumping will keep u awake at night. We demanded a change of room the next day and was given B-06 which is on the 2nd floor. It is a better room. There are no cloth racks or cupboard if u need to hang your clothes or towels (even in the toilet). When we approach the staff, was given those stick on hangers as a temporary solution. I have stayed in many homestay or Airbnb, this one is one or the worst in terms of service delivery. Don't book just because the "hotel" pictures looks nice, see the negative reviews and avoid this place.

The boss is Chinese, very nice and friendly. I will choose this place again next time. We couldn't get a taxi at the second hotel, so the boss gave us a ride for free. The room was newly renovated, very clean and had organic hemp. It was very suitable for friends to hang out together, and it was very quiet, not noisy at all. I changed rooms temporarily in Semporna. I only paid attention to the name of the hotel "Banyan Tree". The price was more than 900. I placed an order immediately without reading the reviews. I placed an order for two days. When I arrived, I found out! Oh my God. I have never stayed in such a simple "hotel" in my life. There were two single beds and I thought there was no space! There was no hanger, no table! I just finished the diving certificate test and wanted to stay for two days to have a good rest, but I couldn't stay at all. The most unacceptable thing is that the shower and toilet in the bathroom are next to each other. You should draw a curtain to separate them! There is no difference between dry and wet! If the price is marked within 200, I think it can be accepted, and I have expectations. This is 900+! (RMB) Oh my God! I stayed in Doubletree in Kuala Lumpur for just over 900. There was no water in the room and the breakfast was extremely simple. The child went to breakfast at 9.55 and couldn't find anyone. There was nothing. Besides complaining, let me talk about the highlights of the hotel: 1. When I asked to cancel the reservation for the next day, they cooperated and cancelled it very quickly; 2. The attitude of the girl at the front desk was OK; there was no coffee or tea to drink, and I asked for hot water to make a cup of tea for myself, and the girl went to find a water heater. 3. The overall location of the hotel is good, hygienic, and relatively clean

In addition, there is no water, and there are a lot of mosquitoes. I killed 4-5 mosquitoes every day. At first, there was no mosquito repellent, but later it was given, and the number of mosquitoes decreased to about 2 every day. There is no trash can. There is no sound insulation at all. In the next room, there is a man with his son and an old lady. They play games with the children at night until 11 or 12 o'clock. It's very clear. Service, everything is self-service. The most comical thing is that the guest notice said that when experiencing homestays, don't be too demanding (roughly speaking). I have been to many places, that is, I can accept simplicity, but I am not here to challenge survival skills. This is really an experience I don't want to relive. In addition, on the morning of the day I left, a Chinese man was abusing a dog in the yard next to me. He had a tattoo on his neck, so he must have been there often.

Basically, there is no service. They took us into the room, gave us a door card and left. They disappeared immediately. There is no daily cleaning. When we asked her to replace the bath towels after use, she was unwilling to give us new ones. She said that they were not enough. Breakfast is for you to see. It is fried noodles, white porridge and bread. If you go too late, there will be no eggs. The table in the room is broken. There is no hook and no place to put clothes. The water pressure is unstable. Sometimes it is on and sometimes it is off. I went to the front desk and the attitude was very bad. It was useless to report it. This is a hotel that costs more than 700 yuan a night. It is so bad that it explodes. The good reviews are all fake. Every guest who stayed in the hotel said it was good. The Chinese boss specializes in cheating Chinese people. You can judge for yourself. Oh, by the way, each room has only one room card. At 12 o'clock in the evening, my friend was taking a shower and I came out to deliver something to him. No one opened the door. I couldn't find anyone at the front desk. I shouted for a long time but no one responded. There was no contact information. The wifi never connected. It's a huge pit, a super pit.

The room was very clean and tidy, with hot water. There was also a laundry room which was very convenient. The location was very good, very close to the tourist pier, which made it very convenient for us to island hop in the morning and come back. The boss was very nice. I forgot my bag at the hotel, and the boss helped arrange a driver to bring it back. Highly recommended!

This is probably the largest homestay in Semporna. It has a very large yard, but the rooms are very small. You can do your laundry by yourself, there is free drinking water, and there are a group of super cute kittens. The local staff are very kind. However, the overall accommodation experience can only be described as "barely make do".

It's my first time in Semporna. The boss is Chinese. He is very reliable. He also provides airport pick-up and luggage storage. The restaurant he recommended to us is also very delicious. The itinerary he booked was also a great experience. The room should be the cleanest in this town. Chinese friends must support it. Haha

This restaurant is great, I like it very much. The boss drove us to buy seafood and helped us bargain. The kitchen in the back was free for us to use. I extended the stay for a few more nights. It was so comfortable to stay here. It is very beautiful and clean. I recommend everyone to book the premium and light luxury ones in the front because it is newly renovated.

The room is spacious and bright, the bed sheets are clean and tidy, the service attitude is warm and thoughtful, the environment is beautiful, and the air is fresh.
