Nyuto Onsen Kyo Taenoyu

My mother and I stayed here together. We were very satisfied with the clean and comfortable room, the delicious food, and the polite service. After checking out and arriving at Tazawako Station, we realized that we had left something behind, so we called to confirm, and they went out of their way to deliver it to the station by car. Thank you so much, even though it was a busy time. We would like to visit again if we have the opportunity.

It is a 45-minute bus ride from Tazawako Station. The bus stop "Myo-no-yu Onsen-mae" is right in front of the hot spring inn, Myo-no-yu. The exterior is like an old-style house, while the interior has a retro-modern feel. The hallways and stairs inside the building are winding like a maze. The room we were shown to was also a bit unusual in design, with a straight hallway at the end, the room on the left, and the bathroom at the back on the right. The room seems to have been renovated recently, so the interior and facilities are new. The TV is wall-mounted, but it is located right next to the sofa, so it is difficult to see. There are two types of hot springs: Kin-no-yu and Gin-no-yu. Kin-no-yu is a murky brown water that is diluted because the source is hot. Gin-no-yu is colorless and transparent, and is heated. It is not the white hot spring that you would imagine when you hear Nyuto Onsen. The open-air bath "Myoken-no-yu," which has the best view, is mixed bathing, but you can bathe while wrapped in a bath towel. There are short hours for women only.

I used the hot springs for a day trip. The open-air bath is a mixed bath. There seem to be two sources, so the colors are different. Water is added because the concentration is high, and heat is added because the temperature is low. There is also hot spring water available. The source temperature of 30 degrees is too low.

The food is well thought out, very elegant and delicious. The service is attentive and attentive. The environment is rich in nature, and since it was the season of fresh greenery, I could enjoy the greenery from both the room and the bathtub. There are two types of hot springs: Kinsen and Ginsen. It has a sour taste in the mouth. Because the source is hot and the water is added from the stream, it cannot be drunk. Ginsen heats the hot spring water to 30 degrees and uses it as it is, but it is tasteless, odorless and uninteresting.
