Experience the rustic cowboy suite with a private entrance on the upper level on this lodge with a property manager on site. This is a working ranch. Horses, donkey, and cattle viewable from fence. There are also 3 dogs and hen house. The Wrangler Outlaw Suite is 625 square feet including 14’ tall ceilings. There is a queen size log bed, hydro massage tub, and luxury walk in shower. Additional beds include an extra high air mattress and pull-out couch mattress. Amenities include mini frig, microwave, coffee maker (drip and Keurig), Smart TV for your personal streaming accounts, and WiFi. This unit has a combination griddle and grill for outside cooking. Items included with your stay on the ranch include viewing of animals from fence line, private 5k (3.1 mile) hiking route including Indian mounds & rock out croppings, deer shed hunting, morel mushroom hunting, and fire pit. Private hiking trail is not available during deer hunting season. Ranch activities available for fee include horse back riding lesson, property tour by motor vehicle, and branding over open fire. Once you book your lodging, we can send you further details. The lodge is a 3-unit building. It consists of Wrangler Outlaw Suite, Cowboy Retreat (property #2694314), and Bunk House. Or even snowshoe through the oak, birch, and willow tree filled land as you take a break from reality. Our Buffalo Bill Pass hiking trail is marked with markers throughout to guide your adventure. Then watch the sky light up with flaming red, orange, and pink rays for a gorgeous sunset. Cody’s Cowboy Retreat is also great for finding deer sheds and morel mushrooms. Many wildlife have been found on property from deer, turkey, geese, and ducks. Enjoy your meals outdoor on the patio while enjoying the sunset on the southwest facing deck. This place was as advertised; beautiful scenery and the room was great. Ed was awesome, he showed us around the property. All the animals on the property were eager to meet us and sample some of the bread we brought. Great experience and fun weekend. Thank you for the hospitality.

I had a relaxing retreat from civilization in the Wrangler Outlaw Suite at Cody's Ranch. The suite is beautifully designed, with large sleeping/living space and large bathroom, perfect for 1 or 2 people, or cozier for a couple more on the sleeper sofa. All ADA accessible. The main room has a vaulted wood ceiling, queen bed, and lots of comfy seating. I enjoyed the large bathroom with over-sized jet bathtub and large shower with 4 extra jets. The private deck with rocking chair was my favorite thing about the unit - view of sunset over rolling hills. The kitchen is not typical, but sufficient. Small counter with sink and air fryer/toaster oven combo. Upper shelves hold microwave, toaster, and small electric burner. The are sufficient pots and pans, dishes and eating/cooking utensils. If you want to cook, the best option is the outdoor side-by-side gas grill/griddle combo. I really enjoyed making eggs and pancakes on the griddle every morning, and grilling burgers for lunch or dinner. Ed lives on site and was available and very helpful.Lots of good walking/ATV trails on the property, and animals to see. Lots more nearby ATV trails. I plan to rent an ATV nearby next time! The Wrangler Outlaw Suite is the upper rental unit, and there is also a lower unit, which is designed to hold a lot more people. Thank you, Ed, for a great visit!

Wonderful taste of ranch life. Truly beautiful property with great amenities. No complaints. If you are planning to come some good to know things are that the closest full sevice grocery is in prairie du chein and the mattress is a traditional spring one. We hope to come back and book the bigger suite with some friends sometime.
