Best Hotels in Senglea, Malta

Starting with the information - we stayed at So City as a young couple (who arent particularly into nightclubs/bars) to see Matla for the first time over a week. I have given this a 'benefit-of-the-doubt' rating due to the hotel being incredibly new. We picked So City Hotel because of the value, it was incredibly well priced. I'd imagine this is a strategy due to it being so new but it was certainly well worth the price we paid. On to the hotel as a whole - I feel this is definitely aimed toward capturing people coming to Malta for some night life. Its positioned so that no more than 10 seconds from leaving the lobby, you can be in a bar, and their are some nice bars surrounding. That said, we werent there for that - but this location also meant that finding an evening meal, or a quick early night drink was incredibly easy. Exploring the island was also very easy from here, Valletta was a very short journey, and as we had opted to rent a car, there was a carpark about 5 minutes walk away (Pengardens) which is reasonably priced for over night parking, and we never struggled for a space. The room was very comfortable, and the mattress was perfect and bedding very soft and comfortable. Our upgraded room was also incredibly spacious. The theming is a nice touch and makes the room a bit more characterful and individual. Staying on the 7th floor, there was minimal noise at night, altough id be concerned if we needed to keep the window open.... The black out curtains were also amazing for keep the room dark for a little bit of extra sleep. Constructive criticism for the room would be: The shower tempurture is difficult - the hottest setting is insanely hot (my other half loves hot showers but this was too much for her also) and it wouldnt go cold, just cooler, it also seemed to get colder through out the shower and you found yourself adjusting. There is not a lot of storage at all for longer stays. This is perhaps a by product of it feeling aimed towards 'nightlifers' who might stop 3 nights or so. I would perhaps ask reception for additional hangers if you have plenty of clothes for a longer stay. The mini fridge, altough useful, is not big enough to put larger water bottles in, which can be annoying. The aircon unit is situated in a place which means it blows directly at the bed. I tried to play with the control but there was no way to adjust it that I could find. Im trying to cool the room, not refridgerate myself. The timer on the aircon also didnt seem to work, so setting it the blow for 30 mins whilst i went to sleep just didnt seem to work. The TV is not a full smartTV which is a shame. Just channels and an internet browser, which are never nice to navigate around.... On to other notes: Breakfast is just what you need. Its not an all out buffett where there is everything you could dream of, but there is more than enough and a few items cycle so you can expect a slightly different breakfast each morning. Excellent property with great location, extremely clean and comfortable, super friendly staff. Teo was extraordinary! He was a true example of excellent hospitality. He made our trip more exciting in Malta by guiding and giving us tips about the city and the attractions to cover in 72 hours. He made sure that everything was arranged for us accordingly. I couldn't thank him enough for the excellent level of service he had rendered. We will surely visit H Hotel on our next holiday and expect that will recommend your hotel to our family and friends.

Qawra hosts a number of shops, convenience shops, restaurants, bars, and a casino, as well as a vast array of water sports facilities.

Everything was excellent. Fantastic place. Very kind staff and helpful. Food was excellent and plenty of choices. We celebrated our birthdays so the receptionist surprised us with extra upgrades. Myself and my fiancé visited this resort and it was an excellent hotel, in a lovely part of Malta. The hotel was very clean, with very nice and obliging staff who were extremely helpful. The breakfast offered a great choice of foods including continental style, cooked traditional English breakfast foods, as well as cold meats and cheeses with an array of pastries. The room was lovely, with a comfortable bed and lovely shower and bath facility, as well as a balcony to relax on. The resort has its own private beach area which is only a short walk away, as well as having 2 outdoor swimming pools. The housekeeping staff were extremely efficient, and always left the rooms looking fresh and new. The bar area is very welcoming and relaxing providing a good choice of cocktails at a fair price. I would 100% come back here, and although this is my first visit to Malta, so I do not have anything to compare it to in terms of other hotels in Malta, I would say that it has been a brilliant experience so far staying here and have enjoyed every minute of it

The original Victoria Hotel was closed for a while and was tied up in a new hotel next door (PALACE). I heard that it is a hotel operated in the same place as PALACE. You must have just been lucky. Ligament opposite the church. The facilities were really good. Breakfast was also dinner, but dinner and taste were delicious in the 9th floor lounge. The view was beautiful. It's a pity that all the pictures haven't been uploaded. There is a large supermarket right around the corner. The bus stop was also a 5-10 minute walk. The people at the desk were kind. There was no problem with staying in Jegicho English. The lounge on the 9th floor is highly recommended (Thai beef salad around 9 euros) Beach sandals and towels can be purchased at a reasonable price at a store near the beach, so it was a place where you can enjoy swimming in the water casually even if you come empty-handed. 我原来预定的宾馆是暂停营业,据说,这家PALACE酒店和我原来预定的酒店(Victoria)?开业的, 属于高档的。 Former Taiwanese 员很热情, 我预定的房间是带阳台的, 房间又大又干净, 属于大又干净, 里面严个述述, 早鸥热情.的公交车站用不了10分钟, 也就是海边,走到哪里都是完美的景点。这家附近有大型超市, 购物也很方便。

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Bora Bora Hotel during festival, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff (Gil is welcoming and friendly) went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. Not only did they swiftly address an issue I had, but they also graciously upgraded my room! I will surely be back.

We've just returned from spending four days at the Rosselli. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. There were many positives and one or two comments from previous guests which point out areas where things could be improved and ones which we probably tend to agree with. The biggest positives were the majority of the staff, particularly the breakfast staff. They were attentive, very pleasant and worked extremely well as a team. Others working in and around the hotel were friendly, helpful and very discrete. Standards of professionalism, dress and presentation from all were very high indeed. Our room (a pleasantly surprising upgrade) was somewhat unusual in design and decoration but it was very well presented and ALWAYS well serviced by the domestic staff. The general decor of the hotel was a pleasing mix of modern and traditional and the sheer height of what must have been the central courtyard of the original building was stunning. However, in our opinion, the lounge area failed to match up with the entrance and reception areas in terms of a**osphere and tradition. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast outside on all four mornings of our stay and could not find fault with the selection, standard or presentation of the food. As previously mentioned, it was served in style, with a smile and a chat about the day. Excellent! We had dinner at Grain Outside on one occasion and were left feeling rather confused as to what we were expected to choose. Having settled for a traditional three courses of starter, main and desert, we felt that the staff were somewhat perplexed that we hadn't ”shared” or gone down the line they had been trained to suggest. We like to make our own choices in a relaxed a**osphere. Having a son who owned and obviously worked in a Michelin recognised restaurant in England, we have experienced food and service of a very high standard. However, we did feel that we were being led to where we didn't wish to go. We enjoy modern, simple, good quality food in a proper but relaxed setting.nf Unfortunately, Grain Street wasn't really for us. Outside of the hotel was noisy, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights. We were in the middle of a vibrant capital city and tourist destination, what else could we expect? Perhaps it says a great deal about everything good about the hotel that we ”old grumpies” didn't let it bother us and we went to sleep looking forward to the next morning, a lovely breakfast and a new venture. All in all, a wonderful stay in a special hotel if somewhat busy but splendid Valletta. A special place - hotel and city.
