This hotel has the best facilities and service for the price. Next time I come to Jeju Island, I want to use it again!!

The boss is nice. The TV in the room is quite big, and it would be better if there is a bathtub.

The hotel was well maintained and clean. The interior furnishings are new. Accessibility to surrounding facilities was high. The large windows give a good view of the outside landscape. The sink is outside the bathroom. The bathroom is not spacious. The bathroom walls are made of glass. Considering the price, I thought the facilities and location were good. The manager was kind. If I have another chance to go to Seogwipo, I think I will book again.

서귀포 중심에있어 어디 이동하기 너무 가까웠다 올레시장, 천지연폭포 세연교 근처라 너무 좋았고 제일큰방에나눠서 잘수있는 호텔이 있단거에 놀랐다 주차장이 너무 좁아..서 다른곳에 세우는걸 추천 ㅠㅠ 큰차는 더더욱.

The hotel is conveniently located about 15mins walk from the Olle market where most of the other shopping streets are. Limited parking lots on-site, however it seems to be the challenge for the other hotels in the area too. Rooms are simple but basic amenities are all provided. One thing I didn’t enjoy was the aircon that was set to auto-turn on and off once the desired temp is achieved. While it is a good energy saving function and I don’t disagree with energy saving, the room immediately becomes just a room with no ventilation when the aircon turns off. This happens so frequency throughout the night and if you have an issue sleeping when there is no ventilation, it can be disruptive. I definitely woke up each time when there was no ventilation. 🤨

Introduction Located about 70 minutes drive away from the Jeju international airport in Seogwipo, South Korea, the Cornerstone Hotel (코너스톤호텔) is a 1-star budget motel located within the Seogwipo city center. The key appeal of Cornerstone Hotel is as a short-stay stopover at the south of the island, within walking distance of the city, with most travellers staying just 1 or 2 nights at most. Ambience Ambience is cozy, almost cramped. Basic with limited views of the city, the place is functional and clean. Students on holiday opt to stay here, thanks to their budget-friendly prices. There's a rooftop terrace offering views of the city, which is particularly beautiful during sunset. Room Rooms at Cornerstone Hotel have a frustrating power layout, preventing use of some of the power sockets. The rooms are also exposed to harsh sunlight during the day, making them really warm. The bed is suitable for individuals, less comfortable for couples. The cable television, wi-fi, mini refrigerator, and bathroom are basic and functional. We tolerated the room during our stay, which was fortunately short. Food Food is self-prepared, thanks to their well-stocked pantry, and common kitchen. For breakfast, supplies of toasted bread, strawberry jam, white rice, soy sauce, and sliced cheddar cheese are all free. With a CU convenience store nearby, it's easy to get more food and drinks. Service Service is hardworking. The single staff manning the counter oversees guest services (check-in/out, request fulfilment), parking valet services, waste disposal, and security, though housekeeping is thankfully through a team of cleaners. Staff also helpfully guide guests in using the free washer and dryer, and use of cooking equipment in the common kitchen. Facilities & Activities The facilities and activities are typical of a motel, with the common kitchen and common dining room a great place for chilling, working, or interacting with others. There's free self-service laundry with the shared washer and dryer, and the ground floor parking area is guarded by a fierce dog (on a leash). Overall, the Cornerstone Hotel is decent for short stays of 1 or 2 days, except that I dislike the room power layout and really have to tolerate it.

The boss is kind. The room condition was good, perhaps because it was newly remodeled. The bedding was also new, so it didn't smell and was nice. The 1st floor is the parking lot and the 2nd floor is the lobby, so you can check in. Coffee and toast are free, so I ate two cups of iced americano. ^^ I don't think it took 10 minutes on foot to Olle Market in the evening.

Just like a small motel

Usually, if the price is cheap, I think I'll get a cheap price... Personally, this place was so good! It's a new building, the windows are pretty, and the owner is kind, everything was good, except for the fact that the huge building under construction with ocean view covers most of the sea! There is also a lobby where you can drink coffee on the 2nd floor, so I worked on my laptop there.

It smelled a lot, probably because the pillow cover hadn't been replaced. I slept on a towel. There was a sea view from the small window, but there was construction in front of it, so it was full of strange iron. There were only 2 small towels and 2 large ones. A few hairs from the futon!! I went in after 11 o'clock, so I was too tired to say... Anyway, the cleanliness was really bad.
