Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel & Serviced Residences Reviews

The hotel is located right next to the Lotte World Tower, which is home to the Korea's tallest Seoul Sky Tower. Although it is not situated in the heart of the old city centre, it has its own edge and is still conveniently served by adjacent amenities.

We spent wonderful time at the hotel. All staff were very nice and helpful, smiles on faces always and in particular I would like to thank Summer at the reception and Ashley Kim at the restaurant who addressed to our needs from time to time. The bed was comfortable and room was spacious. The decoration was stylish and modern. Breakfast was really good. Just two minor problems of the room- the drainage of the bath room was a little problematic and the air conditioning cannot be adjusted when it suddenly went up to 27 degrees, which was quite unbearable during summer time. But our overall experience was still excellent.

Nice hotel, good location, free upgrade after joining member

The moment i arrived, check in was speedy and smooth, i didnt have time to process everything as all was done very quickly. they gave me early check in as the room was ready upon arrival. Wished they give complimentary snack bar or welcome gift on the first day as its a high end hotel. Some toiletries have to be paid due to the korean recycling law. Location wise is convenient and near the train station. Lotte World Mall is located right beside the hotel with easy food amd shopping access. Love the bathtub in the hotel room! Will come again if its within my budget~

Absolutely love this hotel! It's my fourth time staying here and it feels like home away from home. The rooms are fantastic, great staff, great service, amazing gym, and not to forget great location.

Location is fantastic with the mall right next to hotel. Great for families to stay. Breakfast was great!

Overall service was OK, only marred by staff at the breakfast buffet on a daily basis. If you are a first time visitor who intend to visit the main tourist places, note that traffic can take up to 90mins going from this location.

was near the malls with good food. very spacious and clean! will definitely stay here again

The hotel was new and staff were friendly. We loved the Diptyque toiletries. I’m impressed by the assistance offered by the two managers Donny and Simon. They did a great job covering up the gap between the wall and the curtains, making the room darker for a good night sleep. Thank you! Nonetheless I suggest the hotel implement small modifications in the rooms as it can be quite bright when you lie down in the bed closer to the window. One downside is that the elevators are frequently very busy. Changing at 6th floor is a bit cumbersome given the floors are actually not that many (30+ in total I think).

We had a 3 night stay in the Magnifique Family Room. Spacious room for a family of 3, excellent hardware and service. We had an enjoyable and pleasant stay here.Only thing to complain is about the change of lifts at hotel lobby level. We will definitely come back to this hotel if we would like to stay at Gangnam side of Seoul next time.

Great location with close proximity to LotteWorld and train station

It’s my second time staying in this hotel and I’m deeply in love with it. Design, cleanliness and location near the lake everything is perfect.
