Myeongdong Merlin Hotel

I was meeting up with a friend the next day, so I chose a place close to Myeongdong! It was good that Myeongdong was within walking distance. I just wanted to be able to sleep, but the room was spacious and nice! The toilet and shower are in the same place, so you may get wet when you go to the toilet. Waterproof slippers are provided, so it wasn't a problem!

The orange exterior of the building is easy to spot from afar! 5-minute walk from Chungmuro ​​Station, 8-minute walk from Euljiro 3-ga Station There's a convenience store next door The man at the front desk might be out of the house, but he'll greet you kindly when you see him! I arrived around 1pm, but I was able to check in smoothly☑︎ There's a converter plug, cotton swabs, and solid soap next to the front desk. It's like a kitchen, and there's a water server and microwave. Chopsticks, forks, and spoons are also provided. When you check in, they'll tell you that you can take a 500ml bottle of water with you😂 There's only one elevator. Is it floor heating? When you enter the room, it's like a scorching hot sauna day and night😂 But the air conditioning works well, and the windows are large, so it's comfortable. The closet is spacious! The fridge and freezer are large too! The bed is hard. The pillows are not feathers, but vinyl-like. There's also a loft with a single bed there. There's a sink in the room, but there's no water coming out of the tap. There is no curtain between the shower and the toilet, so the toilet gets soaked after a shower, but it dries very quickly and the floor is dry in about 10 minutes. Shampoo, body soap, and body towels are provided. There are no pajama-like loungewear or toothbrushes, so I recommend bringing those with you! I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, and they changed all the towels and collected trash after each night. It didn't seem like the room was cleaned!

The man at the reception was very kind. They also provided free water. There was a convenience store next door, so you wouldn't have any trouble getting breakfast. There was a microwave and hot water on the first floor of the hotel, so I was able to make cup ramen and porridge. The refrigerator in the room was big, so I could put anything in it.

The man and woman at the front desk were very kind. We were about 20 minutes late checking out, but they said it was okay!
