Top 5-Star Hotels in Serik

I'm not sure where to start in describing this hotel. We went there for vacation, 4 adults and 4 children, from 6 months to 6 years of age, The first impact, horrible room, it took 40 minutes and 3 extra visits to the reception to get them to give us appropriate rooms, at least clean and mould free. We got checked in eventually in what i would describe as decent rooms but not 5* worthy. The daily cleaning of the room meant changing the towels (that smelled strongly of chlorine everytime) and sweeping the floor with a dry paddle mop. Everytime we would walk in the room after the supposed cleaning, we could feel sand and dirt on our feet. Not once in an entire week was the room vacuumed. In our 3rd day, the children started feeling bad, vomiting, fever, dihareea, and one by one we all fell sick. We ended up at the local hospital in Belek, with 2 out of 4 children on perfusions. I know something like this could happen to you anywhere and in any vacation, except we weren't the only ones with the same situation. More families in the resort had the same problem and we started to realise how much the simple suitable cleaning has to do with all the diseases spreading. In the last two days, we all felt better but needed to be on a diet because of the digestive issues. I can only say that because of the invasion of flies that they couldn't contain, we ate about nothing. I was disgusted and horrified to see the food full of flies, the tables full of flies, you couldn't eat, it was stunning. I am not a pretentious person and it was my 5th time in Turkey, but I have never seen anything like this. Yes, the money I spent are less than in other resorts I have stayed but the difference was not supposed to be that big. I will never make the same mistake again, especially when travelling with children. Hoppefully, they will try to resolve some of the big issues that they have. If the problem with the flies would have happened in a restaurant in my country, the restaurant would have been shut down by the authorities. At Soho, it is called 5 star service. Lame and unworthy

A FAKE FIVE STAR - CANNOT WAIT TO GO HOME TO EAT. Ignorant staff, example : they never speak to you when collecting a plate for example and often lean over you. They are often fooling around or on their phones instead of tending to customers. I have fed back a small list of issues around this hotel and await a response. They called the room and invited us to attend guest relations despite already being told to just reply. I dont want my time in the sun or having to go out for a meal being taken away. Tried to order a taxi and they added ten euros. Room. Nice view, a bit tired. No effort made by maids really. Bathroom, shower only. Very small. Very slippy floor! Awful cheap decor. THIS IS NOT 5 STAR. FOOD IS HORRIFIC. Breakfats being the worst. At lunch and dinner they often run out! The options are always the cheapest possible with metloaf, burgers and offal being their most common offering. Other than overcooked and look warm chicken/turkey I have not really seen any grilled meats. One night they had 4 ducks to feed a whole hotel!!!! Italian with sweet and sour sauce anyone??? There is an arrogant little man with executive chef walking around who clearly must not have had any training. Dessert are all cheap, jellified and look pretty but never taste as they should. The patisserie served the same junk. Ice cream is ok but nothing to go with it, not allowed a bowl just a teaspoon in a cone. I have never, ever stayed in a 5 star hotel so poor for food. I have been to a lot. Last night the meatloaf was squashed to create “tray kebab”. THIS IS NOT 5 STAR. WE HAD TO EAT OUT SEVERAL TIMES DUE TO INEDIBLE FOOD. Entertainment is good, lots of activities, foam party is good, lots of sun loungers but kids water slides not seen open in a week. Drinks. VERY POOR. The staff dont have a clue, everyone knows what malibu is dont they??? Poor quality, minimal measures. Tip: order the alcohol with just ice and top up your drink. NO BRANDED DRINKS IN A FIVE STAR HOTEL? NO FIZZY SOFT DRINKS IN THE MINI BAR? Spa. Only the sauna working. Hotel shop. Very expensive. Grounds and setting. Good, Pretty in parts. Issues with bites. Eaten alive on two nights. No sign og any preparation to prevent by the hotel. Its a compliment giving this place a 3 star review. Everything is “box ticked” as cheap as possible. This is a genuine review unlike others clearly. Happy to post my booking and photos of the staff. AVOID THIS PLACE, WE WILL! SEEKING COMPENSATION. STILL NO REPLY AS REQUESTED TO MY MESSAGES. Awaiting hotel to comment! I am confident they have excuses for it all. FINAL NOTE: LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!

Booked a hotel for 4 days while in Istanbul. Upon arrival at 6 pm, with a huge smile, I was given a room on the 1st floor with a wildly humming oversized air conditioner at the level of the balcony. Just a nightmare. With my polite refusal, they showed me another room, in another place, also on the 1st floor. Also without a view, which I personally do not need. But what a musty, vile smell it was in it .. Again, he refused. The third room was both smelly and with the same air conditioning, 2 in 1. The reception is trying to explain that the hotel is completely full, it's a real overbooking. I'm angry. I had to spend the night in a room at least without noise, writing to Trip.com. The next day I received a more or less acceptable room, albeit without a view, thanks to the support. Hotel food 4+. You won't leave hungry, but the choice is not like the cool five. The waiters are polite, some of the countries of the former CIS, mostly friendly. They also make guzleme in the morning, in the evening they roast meat on the street, well, nothing like that. The pools are ok, the sunbeds by the pool and on the beach are also good. I won’t say about children’s animation, there is volleyball, animation by the pool is rather weak, but few people need it and it’s not so important. There is ice cream, but it is very unobtrusive, it is difficult to find it, not in sight, and the ice cream man 15 minutes before the “lights out” can lie that it is over. The gym is average, but you can keep fit who knows the features of multifunctional simulators. Outside the gate, there is nowhere to go but the bazaar. Bazaar .. the taste and color .., everything is as usual - consumer goods of Turkish production. Go 1 time for 20 min. As a result, a hotel with insufficient efficiency of the air conditioning system and a very simple design of the rooms. Very tired. If it's cheap, you can play the lottery. If there is something with a good rating 10-15% more expensive, then there is a reason to consider something else.

It was clean, the food was delicious and the activities were nice. Although we chose a double bed room, the beds in the room were single, they helped to put the beds together in a short time.

The hotel is big and has good facilities. There are no queues for meals. It is 5 minutes away from the sea. The indoor and outdoor pools are sufficient. Bad aspects: The car seats used when going to the sea are wet and trap moisture. For this reason, there is a strong smell of pee-wee diapers. If you ride with normal clothes rather than a swimsuit, the clothes will be wet and smelly. Especially the towels given outside are of poor quality and stained. This is the first time in a hotel without a slide ( I saw a hotel with a wardrobe (without doors) and it seemed strange.

Second time in Calista 2024.08.24-2024.08.31 and still everything good, relax holiday, beautiful environment, perfect sunbends around the pool. Everything is clean. Charm beach club is perfect in the evening. Based on the fact that the hotel is full you need to understand that if you come to the evening performance at the last moment, you will not get a free table. The same in the main restaurant, it is full, but several times a manager in the restaurant helps to find a free table. In my opinion they need to build new aquapark, it is too old and small for good hotel. Food in the main restaurant is good, but I missed more hot seafood, but you always can taste grille fish outside. Patiserie in the main building is really poor and a small selection :( Lobby bar is one of my favourite, tasty coctails and relaxed lighting. Rooms are cleaned 2 times a day, mini bar ok. Missed a nesspreso coffe machine in the room. Live music in the evening is perfect. Service at the pool area in the daytime is good. Alacarte restaurant very tasty :) I will return to this hotel again if the price will be similar! :)
