The rooms and general hotel surroundings were very clean, tidy, and heart-warming! Several members of my family and myself booked several rooms in preparation for my wedding day last 15 March. The whole experience was made more special by the very warm and friendly staff who greeted and congratulated us on my big day. I certainly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Soller and the nearby towns in Palma. It made my special day more enjoyable!

First time staying here (as we wanted a change/to try a different hotel) and our experience was very stressful. We arrived at our hotel and got put in a room where the shower would flood the bathroom, the lights did not work/flicker and the air con did not work properly. This was uncomfortable in the 28/30 degree heat. We reported this to a lady on the reception who was very dismissive and rude. She did not help at all. I spoke to another member of staff who was very helpful, he came up to the room and tried to sort things for us. He said he would send maintenance to the room the next day. He explained they were fully booked otherwise they would have moved us room. At one point they explained they would swap the faulty room for new guests that were arriving so it would be someone else’s problem which is awful... There was no improvement over our 5 day stay which was very disappointing, whilst I completely appreciate they were fully booked, the rude staff on reception each morning made it completely worse. The food and pool area was good, fresh towels and a nice area to sun bathe although due to the issues with the room and staff, I wouldn’t stay here again.

This was a lovely hotel! Staff was very friendly and helpful to span-glish speaking Americans! I did my best! The breakfast buffet was awesome! They even helped coordinate a rental car for our day excursion across the island!! My only disappointment was I underestimated the time and distance to/ from Palma. Camp de Mar is a quaint beach town! The bus system is great going to/ from Port d’Andratx.

Just back from a 2 week stay at this hotel. We had a great time and would return. We stayed in a loft junior suite which was very spacious and modern it could have done with a few more drawers but we managed. Each day you get 2 beers, 2 waters and 2 juices free of charge. Pool Area: The pool opened at 10:00 which was great nobody putting towels on sunbeds at stupid o’clock, you never struggle to get a bed anytime of the day. You even have a DJ playing music from 13:00 until later in the afternoon and music playing in the morning. Pool towels are provided as well. Breakfast is served from 08:00-11:00 there is plenty of choice most seating is inside but there are a few tables outdoors. The lifts are not the best we were staying in building 2 which you can’t get to the pool from so you have to go down to the ground and then over to the other building, also the buttons are not that responsive. The hotel is very central and not far from restaurants and bars it is also very close to the buses to Palma (104) and Santa Ponsa (123).

The scenery of the hotel is unparalleled! Located on the cliff, the independent parasol position allows you to enjoy the beautiful scenery
The hygienic condition of the hotel is average, the toiletries are very difficult to use, the towels are dirty and old, the quilt is not clean, and dried bugs can be seen. The quilt may be damp at the beach, and there are no slippers or toiletries. Please bring your own disposable toiletries. Otherwise there will be a charge
The breakfast is great, with many varieties and quite delicious
The service staff has a very good attitude.

GGuest UserWhat a fantastic holiday to celebrate my 40th birthday. This hotel is right up in the mountains of Mallorca, the journey from the airport took around 1 hour in a taxi. We were greeted by the receptionist who was very welcoming and got us signed in very quickly being around midnight we just wanted bed. Room spotless, spacious and the sea view was fantastic. No UK television channels however, not that we were here to watch tv but nice to have when getting ready etc. The pool area is very quiet and relaxing, we spent quite some time at the lower deck where there is a small jacuzzi type pool. Very relaxing. The bar staff were very attentive and would bring drinks out to us during the day. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh breads (and a toaster), fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurts, hot foods inc bacon, sausages and eggs. A coffee machine and fresh juices. Faultless!! We used the indoor spa facilities and had a back massage… fantastic and very reasonable at €45. Would highly recommend this hotel for a quiet relaxing holiday, probably wouldn’t bring our kids to somewhere like this as they’d probably be bored. Outside the hotel are a few restaurants in walking distance, a small shop with very small stock and a pharmacy. Perfect 4 day break as a couple, thoroughly enjoyed and going home feeling very relaxed.

GGuest UserWe have just returned from a self catering holiday at this Hotel and found the facilities badly lacking. First of all the location is not what we expected. Supposed to have a sea view but that was restricted due to large trees right in front of most of the balcony. The shoreline contained a lot of litter. Self catering was difficult not even a teapot or sufficient cooking equipment. No oven so that obviously curtailed certain dishes. Be aware that whilst there are plenty of supermarkets they do not stock basics such as cereals or eggs. There is an Aldi some considerable distance away that we were able to use. Our TV didn’t work and a visit from an engineer sorted it until we switched it off and then it wouldn’t work again. We reported it only to be told we would have to change rooms. I eventually managed to get it working as it was tuned in to England rather than Spain. The location of the hotel is up a steep hill so anyone with walking problems would find it difficult to negotiate Especially if carrying groceries. We didn’t use any of the hotels facilities preferring to eat in the apartment despite the inadequate facilities. After all we had booked a self catering holiday !The beach is lovely quite busy with safe bathing. Good bus services to other areas. Use your debit card for a considerable discount. Would we stay there again probably not. Obviously whoever is in charge hadn’t thought it through. This was not a cheap holiday , the flight and room was in excess of £2500. We expected something better having been in Portugal earlier in the year for almost half the price. Sour grapes hardly. Just a warning to would be travellers.

The room was really nice and clean. Breakfast was amazing and everyone was so kind and helpful. I can imagine to spend there couple days with extra person and do nothing and only relax.

I’m sorry if I will give three for the cleanliness, it was based on my experience but maybe once you try it you won’t experience what I experienced. But this hotel is beautiful but I think for summer time it doesn’t deserve the price they offer. Amenities is perfect because they have some saunas and some other stuff if ever the weather will be unpredictable and thats a big deal that I like with the hotel.

MMaps14934803295We had a brilliant family holiday at Club de Sol. It’s a lovely hotel resort and Pollença is beautiful. We had a friendly 4am welcome and were impressed with the reception area. Our apartment was spacious and clean. One issue was fixed right away too. Air con was good but could have been stronger in the main room area at night. Housekeeping very efficient too. Three pools - 1 main one, 1 medium and 1 for smaller kids. We liked the medium one most. Main pool beds reserved by 08.30 but some beds were available at the top end so all ok really. The shop on site was well stocked and reasonably priced which we appreciated as no other shop within 20m walk. Bar and restaurant staff very friendly. Great breakfast too, 4/5 star hotel quality. Also the best cocktails we had in Pollenca. Entertainment changed each night so was a good option. They could do with smartening up the stage background - just needs a paint over. Entertainment staff were great too and we enjoyed the morning welcome song by the pool each day. The gym was decent and the spa nice. Appreciated you could use the spa showers to refresh once you’d checked out of your room. Everything was clean and smart. Feels like a cared for resort in all departments. 20m walk to nearest sandy beach so not too bad. Otherwise use the taxi app and cabs are pretty efficient and not too pricey. About €10 to Pollenca marina. Pollenca is a perfect resort for families as plenty going on but not too busy or overbuilt. Quite different to much bigger Alcúdia. We’d definitely return to both club de sol and Pollenca

We knew as soon as we checked in with the wonderful Mika at reception that this was going to be the place for us. The thing that attracted us to the hotel was, as someone mentioned in another review, it isn’t one of those big soulless white blocks. It has character and charm and a definite homely feel, with the art, decor and staff. The surroundings and common areas were spotless and immaculately kept. Our room with pool view was fabulous. We loved the traditional Spanish vibe, the dark wood furniture and shuttered windows. As for the food, I can’t believe another review complained about the breakfast selections! I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world and the breakfast at the Bahia was up there. Huge offering of super fresh bread and pastries, loads of cereals and plenty of hot options. The food we had by the pool too was excellent. Always fresh and delicious. We were even sent on our way with a takeaway breakfast and coffee after informing the staff of our 4:30am checkout. It’s the little touches like this that you remember and mark the Bahia out as a very special place. We couldn’t fault our stay and can’t recommend the place highly enough. We will return!

MMENGYUANI have always liked the brand melia. So if there is a melia hotel, they will always choose melia. This time there were some problems when placing an order on Ctrip, but fortunately it was resolved. Let's talk about the hotel again, the hotel has a name called the level, knock on the blackboard! When you stay at the Melia Hotel, if you have the level, you must not miss it, even if it is a bit more expensive. As far as I know, both menorca and Mallorca's melia are available. With this service, enjoy a specific pool and breakfast area. There is also afternoon tea and various cocktails. It's really out of the universe. The design of the hotel also likes it very much, the simple white color, the aunty cleans the hygiene every day. The only drawback, perhaps an advantage for others, is that there is a nikki beach bar next to it. It is said to be the hottest bar in the area. There will always be a lot of people at outdoor parties in the afternoon. I am personally noisy, and I am too old to be able to play

GGuest UserWe haven't been to this hotel for a while and it was nice to see it has been refurbished recently. As before, to location is perfect for Magaluf or Palmanova. Price was also competative for the location and quality. Overall, our stay was pleasant, everything was clean and we would consider staying there in the future. As other reviewers have correctly said, the refurbishment hasn't included the airconditioning. Even though the room has a thermostats which you can set, in reality things are set by the hotel so expect a full day of running until the temprature gets down to a normal temprature. You can't go lower than about 25 degress in reality. The rooms now contain updated safes, but unfortunately there is a surcharge of 3 Euro per day to use this. Nearly every room has a fantastic sea view and has a balcony with sun throughout the day. Those who prefer the shade, may want to consider a different hotel for this reason. Talking of surcharges, in the resturant you will be charged for even water. To make matters worse, you are disturbed and reminded of this 3 times during you meal. The first time is to ask what you want to drink, the second to pour your drink and then a third to pay for the drink. Surely there has got to be a less annoying what to do this for both customers and staff? As others have mentioned, it would be good if the hotel focussed on reducing the amount of salt in there food. The staff work really hard in this hotel, and our room was serviced every single day. Reception staff were always helpful and staff in the resturant were fast to attend.
