We spent 1 night here in the double room upstairs. As everyone says,it's a very large quirky room with 2 armchairs, books, half done knitting, bric a brac on every wall...a pretty room with a huge, comfortable bed.As well as the tea and coffee making (choice of 4 types of tea and biscuits) there is a fridge which thoughtfully has fresh milk in it.The bedding is very nice quality and there is good lighting. The showeroom is fine though basic. Hanging space for clothes is quirky and very limited. The TV is small, especially given the generous size of the room. The night we spent there was very hot and we could have done with a fan, although at breakfast the next day,Kirsten said we could have asked for one.Didn't find a hairdryer anywhere but there was an iron and board. We particulaly liked that there were blinds AND curtains on both windows as we like to keep the early summer light out.Breakfast was very nice..homemade jam and marmalade and a well cooked fry up with top notch sausage. The ONLY problem with this B&B is the traffic noise. It died down in the evening but was incessant again by 6am. Even with the windows shut, the noise is intrusive in the morning. Kirsten is a first class host who tries very hard to please her guests and other than the traffic noise,we could not fault it.
