Berry Springs Lodge

My wife and I would highly recommend Berry Springs. The breakfasts and desserts were incredible. We loved the whole property, and found our room to be very comfy and cozy. The staff were so nice and accomidaying. It was so easy to get to multiple restaurants and the Smokey Mountains were we went hiking both days.

This has to be one of the quietest places we have ever stayed and also very clean! This is a priority for me. Friendly people and a great back porch with rockers to sit and visit with other guests! Also, gather in the main entrance to sit and chat! I do like softer toilet paper but that is a personal preference.

We specifically booked a room with a hot tub after a busy few days in Nashville to wind down and enjoy a quieter weekend in the mountains. Upon arrival, we were shown our room, however the hostess could not get the hot tub to work. After clearing a fault code, it still would not work. Maintenance was called however they could not come until 9am the following day. Strike 1. When the next day arrived, 9am came and went - no one showed up. My wife went downstairs to ask about the status - the maintenance person was on site but did not know about the issue. Strike 2. He then came up to our room, took apart the hot tub, and started working on it. We said we were leaving to go out for a while. After we returned, the hot tub was put back together, but still not working. No note, no "here is what's happening" or any type of communication. So we basically had no hot tub for our 2 night stay. Also no apology or anything offered to make it right. Strike 3. They then sent an email asking how our stay was - probably some 3rd party marketing firm - we detailed our concerns but have yet to hear back. So reluctantly, I am writing this not-so-great review. The room itself was fine and the the balcony view was nice, as was the breakfast. However the lack of communication, concern and ability to fix the problem kind of ruined our 2 day stay. We had to leave early the next day (there is no secure process to leave before the day shift comes in - we had to leave the doors to the lodge open), and we missed breakfast because it doesn't start until 8am. Ughh.

The place was awesome. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was amazing. They offered coffee and cake at night. The views were amazing. It was very refreshing and relaxing. We went for our 29th anniversary and it was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Professional and welcoming staff!! Felt like Home away from Home. The property was maintained well, rooms clean and set up efficiently. Breakfast served each morning delicious and hearty. Snacks, Coffee , tea, Hot Chocolate, Apple cider available at the ready, therefore ideal regardless of the season. Loved both the front and expansive balcony offering a spectacular view . Perfect beginning of the day taking in the sunrise, and ending to unwind watching the sunset. Grilling area and the fire pit with a seating area a perfect addition. Hot tub on private balcony again with a Tranquil, mesmerizing view was a bonus after a day of shopping, hiking, or taking in the plethora of attractions available nearby. This was definitely one of my favorite destinations that I plan to enjoy again in the future!!

Breakfast was tasty … and came out quickly every morning… room was kept neat and tidy… comfy and romantic feel ! Maybe put some lighting around Hideaway Springs.. sits around the back and was hard to see coming back at night… bears ughh… we used our phone flashlights and just made a dash … but all was very nice! Had a great time there!

Last minute trip to get away and relax and it didn’t disappoint. Location is secluded and waking up to sun rise over our balcony makes any day better. Service was amazing lady who served our breakfast was absolute joy. Room was nice and clean bed was very comfortable and breakfast included in dining room was amazing. French toast on Saturday morning was as good as any I have had in the 40 years of eating breakfast in Pigeon Forge. Location was great could be to any end of pigeon forge in under 10 minutes or downtown Gatlinburg in 30 minutes or less. Wife and I have already said any trip we book without kids in the area will be at Berry Springs Lodge.

Amazing stay overall. Suite, amenities, staff, and views were top tier. We will definitely be booking in the future from here on out. They offer so much more than what you see on the website. So many free luxuries included. Free breakfast every morning and not that regular hotel help yourself stuff. We had tasty hot biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, and sausage. Such a clean, hospitable, and relaxing getaway. Will recommend to everyone planning to stay in this area.

What an absolute gem snuggled up in the mountain! The lodge is completely beautiful, the grounds are breathtaking, and all the staff was beyond amazing, so friendly, made you feel like family. We were greeted by Emily, who was just so warm and inviting! Took us on a tour of the entire lodge and surprised us by letting us know that our actual suite we booked was the upper floor of a cabin adjacent to the main lodge, my husband was over the moon! It was so spacious, immaculate, and just so inviting. Each morning we were treated to a delicious homemade breakfast, now a few young ladies served us but I'm sorry I'm at a loss for all their names but I remember Alexandria, all of the girls were such a delight! Our biggest delight and surprise we a little visit from the local bear who lives around the property, that made my husband so excited to see that! The lodge is conveniently located just above Dollywood and convenient to all local attractions and the Great Smoky Mountains Park. We celebrated our 26th anniversary here, and we can't wait to return. Everything about Berry Springs is just so inviting. The location, the lodge itself, the grounds, the exceptional staff and 5+ stars service, the foods, the delicious evening desserts, and late night ice cream! A wonderful place for couples to stay. Thank you for an incredible experience. We'll be back!
