The hotel has its own characteristics that may seem like disadvantages to some. But I chose the place precisely because of them :) 1. Small area, small pool, small number of rooms. There is no place for large parties or loud parties. And lizards run around from time to time. But a very clean pool, well-groomed area, light bulbs, chairs, hammocks. The rooms have good furniture, the tiles in the toilet and shower are all intact and clean. And there is Mimi the cat. Since the hotel is small, the staff treats it like their own home - with care and love. 2. Wild beach, to which you still need to go down the mountain. There are no sun loungers, no lifeguards - swim at your own risk. But there are almost no people there, and most importantly, there is almost no water transport. If a boat floats by, it is far from the shore and quite rarely. Those who love swimming and are confident in their abilities can safely swim further away. You can also take amazing photos on the rocks there. The surf and wind are strong, you can jump on the waves. 3. Staff. There are no nuances here, they are simply beautiful! They understand the inaccessibility of their hotel, so they offer transportation to the beach and the store. They are very polite, they will help if necessary, but they do not impose their attention. 4. The price includes breakfast, there is no buffet, but the standard set includes a lot of things for almost every taste. The fruits are fresh, 0.5 liters of coffee are brought at once, eggs will be prepared in any form. There is also toast with jam and delicious juice from the store. Dinner can be ordered separately from the fixed menu, the portion is large. Very nice and pleasant service, new dishes. 5. Awesome views, the hotel is surrounded by greenery, a light breeze blows - very comfortable even on the hottest day.

The Korana beach is excellent, uncrowded, clear turquoise water, beautiful views, entry into the sea is best from the Korana Beach hotel.

We vacationed with our family in the Seychelles at the beginning of October 2022. The flight was from Moscow on Ethiopian Airlines with a transfer to Addis Ababa. We lived on about. Mahe six days. We liked the hotel, it is located on a mountain, offering a beautiful landscape from the mountain to the ocean. During our stay, the entire hotel room was occupied by vacationers, but the guests practically did not intersect with each other. It was quiet, calm, no fuss. The hotel has several recreation areas and a large parking lot. I also liked that there was a pool and it was clean. There is a kitchen for self-catering, and a barbecue area. The rooms are large, some with balconies. If there is no balcony, you can use the open terrace on the second floor. The rooms are average, but definitely not bad. The room has everything you need - air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, TV, hairdryer. Wi-Fi works throughout the hotel. We only took breakfast - juice, tea, coffee with milk, toast with jam, omelet or scrambled eggs, fruit, pancakes. Breakfast, although simple, is quite filling. The hotel staff consists of 2-3 people, the hotel manager Matthew is a competent young man. Even before arriving in the Seychelles, we contacted Matthew by e-mail and asked him questions. It is better to contact him directly, he will always advise and help - if necessary, he will draw a map, road junctions)), find coals and help light the barbecue when you suddenly decide to fry fish steaks at night)), will help you out when you suddenly run out of Coca at night -Cola for a cocktail with rum)). Rent a car, book excursions - all this can be done at the hotel through Matthew. All the time we rested on the island of Mahe and one day sailed to the islands of La Digue and Praslin - early in the morning there, in the evening - back. The transfer arrives directly to the hotel and brings you back after the excursion. The island is not small, there are a lot of beaches, it is much more convenient to rent a car, I recommend it. We visited almost all the beaches on Mahe Island - large and small. And each beach is beautiful in its own way, no two photos will be the same - I guarantee it! By the way, the beach, which is located next to the hotel, is one of the best for relaxation. The nearest restaurant from the hotel is 3-5 minutes by car. drive, to the central beach of Beau Vallon - 10 min drive, to the opposite end of the island - 40 min drive. If you do not plan to rent a car, then there is public transport, a bus stop next to the hotel. The downside is that it is a very steep climb to the hotel; many people write about this in reviews. This was not a problem for us - we rented a car. Overall we had a great time, I definitely recommend the hotel.
