I had the most incredible experience staying at the Shanghai Prodor Music Hotel! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The hotel's unique blend of music and hospitality creates an atmosphere like no other. The attention to details is absolutely amazing. My room was not only comfortable and luxurious but also equipped with top-notch Bang and Olufsen sound systems, allowing me to enjoy my favorite music in style. The attention to detail in the room's design, with musical motifs and decor, made my stay truly special. My room was decorated with precious wood, high quality leather, beautiful marbles all assembled in sophisticated patterns. The level of automation from the lights to the curtains and the Villeroy & Boch washlet was out of this world. The hotel's restaurant offered a delightful culinary journey with a diverse menu that catered to all tastes. The chefs prepared my breakfast to my exact liking. The buffet was garnished with fresh ans well selected products. The maître d’hôtel will guarantee a smooth communication with the kitchen making the dinning experience smooth and most enjoyable. What truly sets the Shanghai Prodor Music Hotel apart is its dedication to music. If you don’t know who is Lang Lang he is world renowned piano player and the Prodor Music Hotel was established in his honor. The on-site music studio and regular music events make it a haven for music enthusiasts. I even had the opportunity to attend a live music workshop during my stay, which was both educational and entertaining. The staff's hospitality made me feel like a valued guest. Big kudos to Candice, Kris, and Daniel for their exceptional courtesy and problem solving skills. Whether you're a music lover or not, this hotel offers an unforgettable experience that combines luxury, hospitality, and a deep appreciation for the art of music. I can't wait to return to the Shanghai Prodor Music Hotel for another harmonious stay!

The room is clean, well-equipped, the service is friendly, and a suitable room was changed. The surrounding transportation is convenient, with buses and subways, and a snack street downstairs for dining.

Because the bed in the originally booked room was faulty, the front desk upgraded me to a double bed without having to pay the difference. This was great luck. There is no breakfast in the hotel, but the reservation system shows that there is breakfast. There are many kinds of delicious food outside the hotel.

Lovely!!!! There’s a balcony attached to the room that gave a nice view. The room was stacked with all the necessities of an apartment. They even had fruits in the room free of charge. It was clean, the air was nice, smelled good… the staff was friendly and 1 guy at the reception spoke very good English and recommended a few places to visit while staying there. Would I recommend? DEFINITELY!!! There’s a 7 eleven downstairs the building and a basic mall across the road. It’s in a peaceful and not loud area but still not far from the busy tourist attractions.

Facilities: The hotel opened in 2024. The front desk, elevator, restaurant and room are all new. There is also a self-service laundry room. You can smell the fragrance as soon as you enter the lobby. The only drawback is that the shower water flow in the room is a bit small. Hygiene: The room and lobby are very clean. Environment: In Pudong New Area, next to Yangpu Bridge, there is a subway station at the door, and it is very convenient to go anywhere. Service: The service can be said to be very good. When we checked in, the front desk helped us upgrade the room type from the inner window to the outer window room. The upgraded room has a very good view. With the small floor-to-ceiling window in the room, you can see the Shanghai three-piece set. The security uncle at the takeaway door will use a robot to deliver it. When checking out, the front desk lady was very good and gentle, and also gave us a Licheng Hotel notebook and a Shanghai three-piece refrigerator magnet. Overall, the experience is very good.

The hotel facilities are relatively complete. I have stayed in so many hotels and found that the toiletries are not easy to use. The toiletries set of this hotel is pretty good. The shower gel smells good and the hair is not so dry and tangled after washing with shampoo. I will stay here again when I come to Shanghai next time. The price is very economical and cost-effective.

Not the best hotel. Toilet is clean but room carpet and wall are very down and dirty. Window can’t even be closed fully. One night stay is enough, if a few night, probably will choose to pay more and stay other hotels.

Another stay here. A simple, no frills hotel for a good price. I love the location with two plazas within walking distance and the metro station about a 6 minute walk. Very convenient for getting to anywhere in the city on Line 9. This is the first time I checked the television and was a bit sad that there was only one English channel. Though this was not a big deal for me as I was only in the room to sleep. I like to book a room on the south side of the hotel as there is an open view looking over a school field. However, if you stay on a weekday, I am told the school has announcements early in the morning, so a room on the north side might be better for Sunday night to Thursday night. Check in was fast again and I was in my room within about 5 minutes. While I was very comfortable in my room, I did notice that the walls were getting a bit worn. There was also something on the walls that looked like dust, but I hope it wasn't mold. It seems they might need to think about doing some simple renovations. The height adjustment for the shower was also broken so it wanted to fall. I should have mentioned this to the front desk but I forgot. Overall, another nice stay but they may need to plan some simple renovations like painting the walls and checking the fixtures in the rooms.
