Had a great stay here! The facilities are brand new, with a Kohler toilet and a L'Oréal hair dryer. The mattress was really comfortable too. Ordering takeout was convenient; I got Chinese food, Lawson, and Cha Bai Dao. The breakfast spread was extensive and very satisfying.

As someone from the north visiting Shanghai for the first time, staying in this unique riverside hotel was a wonderful experience. The environment is beautiful and the scenery is pleasant. Many international guests stay here, and it's convenient for dining and accommodation. The adorable pets – puppies, kittens, and bunnies – are incredibly cute. The breakfast included with the room was surprisingly good. With two children, we were even upgraded to a larger room. The service was attentive, and the cleanliness was excellent. Good: We definitely appreciated the shuttles to and from the airport, with the possibility to arrange for different timings. The staff were also happy to aid us with requests including the heating up of supper in the microwave at night. The towels were also replaced everyday. The kids also loved the slides in their rooms.
So-so: The location is somewhat out of the way from any supermarkets or shopping centres - not a deal breaker just note if heading to Disneyland and coming back late, there are not a lot of options for supper in the vicinity. The activities at the resort are nice to see on the site but most probably you will not be doing them.
All in all a nice comfortable location to base your Shanghai Disneyland visit but would probably stay at a location with more food options in future.
