Clean, simple and comfortable, very good stay. Central area, although not super close to the metro. The room was relatively spacious and clean. I'll definitely come back again. Very good value for the money. Also the checkin As smooth, which is not always the case when you're a foreigner.

Great value no-thrills hotel that does exactly what it says on the tin. The best 2 star hotel I’ve stayed in terms of the quality of the room, which is on par with most 3 star hotels. Big comfortable bed, reasonable size room, clean, a bathroom with everything you need and good Wi-Fi! Perfectly fine if you just need a place to get your head down in the area for one or two nights. Of course the main difference between this and proper 3 star hotel is that there are no facilities at all, just a reception where you can buy some essentials. Still, not bad for ¥227. Besides, there are like 100 restaurants right outside. There was one complaint though during my stay. I was woken up around 11:30pm because someone in the corridor was pushing a trolley, and there’s was a load of crash, bang and wallop! I looked outside and it was just someone doing housekeeping. Why the h*** was someone working at that time?

Good experience

It was a very pleasant experience. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The bed was specially good. Also the front desk service was very friendly and, although they could not speak English, they were able to find alternative ways to communicate with me. The location is definitely a highlight. Although it is not the heart of the city, it was less than 30 minutes away from almost all the landmarks.

Highlights 1. Good location. Convenient transportation. It is close to Jiangsu Road Subway Station on Line 2 and Wuning Road Subway Station on Line 13 in the center of Puxi. There are 889 Plaza, Aldi Supermarket and Hema nearby. 2. Quiet in the bustling city. Although the surrounding area is prosperous, the hotel is relatively quiet at night and has a good sleep. 3. Basic services/configuration. Even in a small room with a single bed, basic configurations such as air conditioning, work desk, and water heater are available. The front desk is also enthusiastic 4. Overall, it is cost-effective. It is enough for business travelers. Disadvantages 1. There is no desk lamp on the work desk, which is inconvenient to work. I bought a small desk lamp myself, and then found that there was no power plug on the side of the table. 2. The hot water in the bathroom is not hot. I tried it several times, and it was only about 40 to 50 degrees at most, so I could only wash with difficulty. This is a flaw. 3. The hand sanitizer on the sink has no product label. Although it is not a big problem, it makes people feel a little informal. Overall, Manyi is still a good cost-effective business express hotel choice. I hope to do better in the details of hardware facilities in the future.

The room is quite big, with a window facing the road. The toilet and shower room are separated into dry and wet areas, and the washbasin is conveniently located at the entrance. It is generally clean and sanitary, and the price is reasonable.
