Hanting Hotel (Shanghai Jing'an Temple Subway Station) Reviews

Great hotel! Unfortunately non-English stuff. Anyway, it was amazing two weeks spended with Hanting Hotel. Room was clean and convenient, breakfast was also good.

We arrived very late at 3 Am and the staff was friendly. Even though she cannot speak English, she was really helpful and used a translation app to communicate with us. Kudos to the night shift staff. She was really friendly and helpful. The room that we booked is really spacious. 1 double bed and 1 single bed. The room is huge enough to put 2 medium sized luggage even when it is open. Not to mention the room is clean. But bring your own shampoo. Their shampoo will make your hair really dry. There's a hairdryer and you can request for toothbrush and toothpaste if you need it. Bottled water is provided as well. There are 3 metro stations that are walkable but the nearest one is chanping road station which is line 7 and another one is Jing an station which is line 2, 7. There's a lot to see in Jing an temple area too. There's a lot of restaurants around the hotel as well and I will definitely recommend alimentari and degusteria which is opposite the hotel. They served very good Italian cuisine. There's also a washing machine and dryer which is free to use for everyone. There's detergent as well. And also if you need to keep your luggage, there's luggage storage for you to use after checkout. Overall the experience is really good with this hotel. Will totally recommend it to others.

Good location, very clean, but very small rooms. Service is variable. The staff on reception during the day are not that friendly. They don’t even say hello or goodbye. Or acknowledge you at all. Night shift reception staff were much more friendly though.

Spacious room, suitable for 3 pax! Clean and as shown in pictures. There was enough space for all of us to keep our luggage open. The hotel also has this cute robot to send your delivered food/items up to your room!

The location itself is good in terms of accessibility, it doesn't take too long to get to Hongqiao airport/railway station and the main train station as well as most major tourist attractions. The hotel is in walking distance from Jing'an Temple station (around 10 minutes), although we mostly relied on taxi and bikes. Room was clean and bigger than expected. The staff do not speak English, but they're very helpful and friendly regardless. Had no problems with the police registration either and even though my friend and I checked in and out at different times, there were no issues. It's great for a short stay and definitely much more affordable than other options in Shanghai.

this place is a rather perfect fit for teenagers, the new gen who like to walk around the city; hotel is located in the city center which only takes 800m walk to reach the shopping center and Jing'an Temple; the nearby hotel also has several bars, restaurants, and a nail spa, and most places are a perfect fit for Western European styles; plus also nearby 2 train lines (line 7 and line 14) which you can take to several places.

It was a nice and clean but the breakfast was awful. It could have been better, they should have a staff that atleast can speak a little english as it is in the city and many foreigners go there to stay.

Nice hotel and a really good location. Very close to 3 subway stations. The hotel staff was super friendly.

It is a good and comfortable room that the hotel offered. But, I found the walk to the nearest metro train station is a bit far (min 15mins)..

Lovely experience , just in the heart of Shanghai , staff is super friendly and caring. Rooms are newly renovated and good enough

Very clean, neat and cozy place to stay. The toilet doors have a gap making a bit uncomfortable to use. But anything else is okay

Very central, had a greatstay. Rooms facing the stairway are noisy. Nice local breakfast

Overall is good just that the room is quite squeeze for 3 paxs.

The staff has been Kind and it was a great experience I will be back
