Located in a very quiet neighborhood in Shanghai, perfect for those who enjoy short scenic walks. The subway entrances are only 2 minutes away so its ideal for a quiet yet convenient stay in thr big city. The rooms are pretty tight for more than one person. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating - from the front desk to the cleaning staff to the kitchen staff. Amazing people! The breakfast is also not bad. Chinese cuisine but foreigner friendly.

Enjoyed my stay, very convenient, near train stop, comfortable bed, new carpet etc, windows open for air, very clean & great city views overlooking French sector roof tops & architecture & gardens. Jonathan at desk was very helpful as I arrived at 1am from a long flight. HIGHLY recommend.

Forgot my own shampoo at hotel when I left a week ago. Came back a week later , they found them back for me. Very impressive. 3rd time staying here. Very convenient location for me. Always first choice in Shanghai for me.

The hotel is in a good location and the transportation is very convenient. It is only a dozen minutes' walk from Wukang Building. The front desk lady is very enthusiastic and upgraded the room. The room is fully equipped, clean and has no odor. The scenery is beautiful. I will stay here again next time if I have the chance.

The hotel is easy to find. Just walk along the road after getting out of the subway, but it takes a while. The room is not big, but it has the most basic facilities. There is a hospital next to it, and a community with Lawson, a fruit store, and a breakfast restaurant. It is quite convenient.

I booked a room for a week from the 21st. On the night of the 23rd, my child broke a glass in the shower room while brushing his teeth. I cleaned it myself first, just in case there were still glass fragments. I reminded the front desk and room cleaning staff four times (the customer service lady brought a band-aid on the night of the 23rd) to pay attention when cleaning. On the night of the 24th, my little baby was ready to take a bath. Fortunately, I checked it first and there were still glass fragments in the shower room. Fortunately, the child didn't step in it. This is the service and hygiene of the hotel!!!

This is my second time staying at Xinghua Hotel. It is very close to Wukang Road, so the transportation is very convenient. There is a circle of small Western-style buildings around it, which can be seen when you open the window. The hotel is very clean. Although the decoration is a bit outdated, it is very clean.

The room is a bit small, but the facilities are complete and meet the standards of a four-star hotel. The parking lot is a bit small and parking is not very convenient. But it is right next to the main road, so it is very convenient to get in and out! There is basically no service, and the hotel staff are relatively old.
