Overall, great service by the front desk, restaurant and lounge staffs. Keep it up guys!
I’d like to thank and show my appreciation to the friendly, cheerful and helpful housekeeping team, namely 张玉苹 and 张敏 who kept my room in impeccable condition and were meticulous + courteous in the discharge of their service.
Areas for improvement:
1) the lingering cigarette smell, likely left behind by other guests can sometimes be smelt in elevators, corridors and even my room when I first checked in (they got rid of the smell in my room after my request).
2) the food quality and selection in the buffet breakfast and dinner can be greatly improved.

I use this hotel many times as convenient to the Honquiao Airport, train station and exhibition center. Wide room, clean, good service

The location is great, this was my second time staying here and the experience was much better than the first time. I loved the dinner buffet, I was watching a movie on my phone put against the wall but the guy who works there when he saw me he arranged a phone stand for me without even asking. Great service.
The reception lady who speaks English was a great help also. I will definitely come back again.

Clean and well lit with friendly staff. Gym a little small but adequate and up to date equipment. Pool also a little small, probably could not take more than 4 people exercising. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, good range of western and Chinese food.

Good hotel for a short-term business trip. Location next to the railway station is very convenient if you need to travel by train from Shanghai.

I liked the Novotel in Chongqing airport so I booked this one near Hongqiao, a bit older and smaller than the one in Chongqing but it is understood that real estate in Shanghai is much more pricey. Very helpful with Tom, Irene and Eden.

In general i feel good. but i have 2 points would like to tell :
1. we would like to book your conference room for our 2.5 days meeting during our visit. But we cancelled our idea as we found that it was very expensive. We cannot understand why we cannot get a good offer even we stay at your hotel.
2. For the 1st morning that we ordered wonton at breakfast time. The lady was so unlike to make. Her face should us that she really really not happy to make it. we really could not understand why she was so unhappy. we though that she may not in good mood at that day. But it was happened again . we really did not know what happened with her. until the last day of our breakfast. We were so happy that she was not there but a young ***. He was so nice to make wonton for us.
These are our comments for this trip.

Check-in took nearly 20 minutes because the staff member went to photocopy our passports and didn't return. I had to remind other staff to expedite the process. The rooms were decent and comfortable, but there were no fruits in our room, which is typically expected from a star hotel. Breakfast was satisfactory. I would recommend this hotel for a short one-night stay, as it is just 15 minutes from the high-speed Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, which was our main requirement. However, it is not ideal if you want to be close to the city center.
