Aman always stands apart, and Amanyanyun is no exception. This is a stunningly beautiful resort, full of elegance and charm, nestled in the outskirts of Shanghai. Our room was as spacious as usual. The front desk staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. We had an amazing experience cycling through the resort's forest, immersing ourselves in nature and the beautiful scenery. The Jiang Xi cuisine at the resort's Chinese restaurant was also exceptional. The staff's English proficiency and the housekeeping team's room service could use some improvement. However, when we provided this feedback to Mr. Johnny, the Room Manager, he listened to us with genuine sincerity and goodwill. Thus, despite these minor imperfections, Aman remains number one in our hearts.

The stay was impressive. Not only was the room spacious, the site was also peaceful will very few other guests at the time we went. The environment was so nice that we forgot we were in Shanghai. Experiences of having hotpot next to the river, cycling around the large park, visiting the antique villa and learning about the history, were exceptional. We were amazed by Johnny Qin and his team's warm hospitality and heart-touching service, especially the hand-drawn welcome card which bear the logo of our company. Attentions were paid to every detail during our stay. Penny was our yoga tutor and she was so friendly in teaching us and also taking pictures for us. Highly recommended. As for the afternoon tea on the boat, we had a great chat with Kevin Li 李城城, rounding up a sweet and memorable experience for us at Amanyangyun. Will definitely come back again.

Good Service, Good stay and great food

This is my first Aman stay ! I came here because I wanted to experience Kerry Hill’s work in personal ! Very well kept and the surrounding is just so beautiful and surreal ! The staff were really attentive especially Ms Susan ! She took the initiative to link me up on WeChat which makes communication so much easier ! I ate a pepino melon without knowing what it was and I asked her. She then packed a box for me to take home :) I am so touched by the sincerity and care they render to their customers ! I think I am so spoilt by the whole Aman service that I will definitely return for more ! Thank you Ms Susan ! Keep in touch ~

Fantastic hotel located in the suburbs of Shanghai. Very nice villas. Good F&B

Having stayed at Aman in so many countries, Shanghai was the most disappointing. Let me talk about it first. The hardware is on par with other Amans, especially the gym. The hotel does have a secluded feel. I feel refreshed after staying in the hotel for 3 days. All our needs were responded to very quickly. shortcoming Hotel staff - not even five star level When I arrived at the hotel, there was no bellman at the front door. There was a staff member squatting at the door. We were not greeted in time and we got off the car and entered the hotel. It took a minute for the doorman to show up to help with our luggage. Dinner at the Chaoshan hot pot in the hotel was good. It was good to help cook the whole process. The professionalism of the waiters really needs to be improved. She dropped ingredients on the dining table at least three times while helping us pick up the food and put it in the pot, so much so that she was embarrassed. The last time she dropped her earring on the floor. When asked if there were any staple dishes, the two waiters gave different answers. The image of the staff, the smoothness of make-up, hair, work clothes, and mental outlook also need to be improved. After all, it is the face of Aman. Finally, Aman is positioned as the ultimate luxury escape hotel for me. Different brand activities were held during my 3-day stay, various staff members were walking around, and all spas were said to be reserved. During the swimming period, there were also a bunch of staff with cameras inspecting the venue? When we returned to the room at night, there were staff setting up the installation site, using electric drills. All the materials were blocking the corridor of our room. Do we need to consider safety hazards? If the hotel is positioned for brand events, it will either reserve the venue or stay away from the guests' residences. Having said so much, after all, Aman charges this price. I hope Aman Shanghai can improve its professional level and hope to stay again in the future.

The service is thoughtful and considerate. I am very satisfied. I received a gift when I left the hotel. I was so surprised that I didn't want to leave. I enjoyed the incense class in Nanshufang, watching movies in the theater, and strolling by the lake. All my wishes came true. Even the deer were warm and hospitable. I was moved to tears after watching "I Want to Live Another 500 Years". I took away happy and beautiful memories and the courage to overcome difficulties. Thank you!

Li Chengcheng of Yangyun Therapy provided excellent service. He guided us to learn how to paddle board and ensured that we were safe while having fun. Other services were also good, and the overall environment was good, highly praised!

Let me talk about the satisfied places first: First, it was my wife's birthday, so I made a note on Ctrip in advance, and the hotel also prepared flowers, birthday cakes, greeting cards, etc., which was very satisfactory; second, the hotel environment and facilities were very good, especially the thousand-year-old trees, which were very photogenic; third, the Yinlu hot pot we had for dinner had a good restaurant environment and the taste was generally okay; fourth, breakfast was semi-self-service, which I liked, especially the Jiangxi rice noodles. Let me talk about the dissatisfied places: first, there was no butler to contact in advance, so the cake we ordered could not be delivered to the hotel lobby. In 36-degree weather, we had to pick it up on the road outside, which was very speechless; second, after breakfast, I returned to the room and found a spider at the head of the bed. After calling the front desk, someone came to deal with it ten minutes later. The timeliness was very poor. When checking out, no one from the hotel staff mentioned this matter. It felt like they were used to it. I was very dissatisfied. I rarely write bad reviews, and this is the first one.

I wanted to experience Aman Hotel a long time ago. I decided on a whim and didn't want to wait for a moment. I have stayed in W Ritz-Carlton, Shenkeng, St. Regis, Bulgari before. Aman is a completely different experience and feeling. Such a magnetic place, besides relaxation, it's still relaxation. Daniel at the front desk helped me book the orange chocolate cake. Every bite was delicious because the desserts arranged by Dannie made me feel that happiness is so simple. After checking in, Kylie introduced it in detail, so that I quickly became familiar with the environment of Aman. Thank you sister Kylie, your eyes are so beautiful. Sister Penny Pan at the spa center is very considerate and makes people feel warm♥️. The waffles and scallion oil noodles for breakfast 🍜 nuts cold oatmeal are what I like. Bruce Wang's smiling service is great and his smile is sweet. In short, AMAN is a hotel that is worth experiencing many times.

Aman's standards are really high, and the hardware and software are impeccable. In particular, I met a young lady in the children's center. She talked to us a lot and the emotional value was full. When I left, I found out that this young lady was a leader, and it seemed to be the front office manager. I think the reason why Aman is Aman is inseparable from the emotional value provided by such employees. Thank you 🙏

The Italian restaurant here is very good, with a quiet and pleasant environment

The facilities are very new. The room has an outdoor bathtub which is nice. The outdoor swimming pool is very wide. The hotel environment is also very good. The food is authentic Jiangxi cuisine.
