We stayed for 2 nights and what an amazing hotel in a fantastic location. The staff were really helpful and friendly, but the only downside is no wardrobe, but will definitely come back again next year.

The hotel has a charming, ancient feel and is conveniently located within walking distance to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade and breakfast. The staff were incredibly helpful, greeting us at the entrance and assisting with our luggage. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Love our stay. Room was cozy and the host are very friendly Just some down part during winter - you need to wait about 20mins in between shower as the hot water runs out but it didn’t bother us much In the morning we were served wonton soup which we think is very nice and warmth Our first home stay in Shanghai was incredible Prime location 10minutes walk to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town

Ideal location for visiting the water town. Close walk from the metro. Rooms are great and it makes for a nice and quiet escape from the city.

no hotel sign board.. have to walk through the garden. . hotel should have service to pick up foreigner right at metro station. for registration I suggest then to print English form as I cannot understand Chinese word. but I astonish and good memory of their decoration atmosphere way.

It's really pretty. It's almost like a museum because it has 200 years of tradition. It was fun because they explained things here and there! I think spring and fall would be really nice! I want to come back in spring!

Even though I was attracted by the beautiful pictures of the inn when I booked it, I was still amazed when I actually checked in. The appearance exceeded my expectations. I didn't stay enough and didn't appreciate enough in one night. I wanted to come again before I left. I was a little worried about the location of the inn when I booked it, but it was actually very convenient. The front door is right next to the main road, there is free parking on the road, and it takes only ten minutes to walk from the subway station to the inn. The surprise is that the back door of the inn is very close to the ancient town, and it is only three or four hundred meters away from the Qing Post Office. Along the way, you can still feel the fireworks of the residents of this living ancient town. It is quiet in the bustling city, and the winding paths lead to secluded places. I am at a loss for words. It is really worth recommending. The boss and the waiter are very polite. The only thing is that the sound insulation effect of the wooden structure house is quite ordinary, of course, compared with the advantages, it is nothing, just be mentally prepared.

The inn is a Hui-style building. It looks nice and has complete facilities. However, it is an inn in an old building. The overall environment of the room feels old. There is a slight smell of dust and mold. The service is quite good.

The room is spacious and bright, with complete facilities, especially the tea table on the ground. It is very comfortable to sit and drink tea while looking at the scenery in the garden. Enter the antique courtyard gate from the small path, and enter the garden through the corridor. The lights at night are very beautiful, and the breakfast is also very special. Go out the back door and walk directly into the ancient town. In short, this is a good accommodation experience. I will come again if I have the chance.
