Very inexpensive for Shanghai, everything was adequate but nothing was exceptional. Staff spoke English well enough to be understood, free water, tea and coffee always welcome. The peach tea was especially good. The near by food street is worth a visit if you can speak mandarin, good local food at low prices.

The pure metal table lamp will be unimaginable if it is hit. The hotel wifi is also very poor. I called at noon to send a spoon, but it didn’t arrive in half an hour. OK, I went out. I called at night and just asked to send a spoon. The previous ** was very bad, meaning that the hotel staff delivered it in 2 minutes, blaming me for not being in the room.
