This HomeInn is about 10 minutes walk away from the subway station and quite close to some tourist areas. The room itself is not small for its price. The outlook of the building, however, looks quite old and dirty. The inside is fine, though. I would recommend this place if you do not intend to spend a long time in the room. It's very affordable and acceptable quality. Bring your own towels and slippers as they are not comfortable.

The hotel room (King Room A - the window faces the corridor) is slightly smaller and has a lower ceiling. Considering the average accommodation price in Shanghai, it is acceptable for one night, but it may feel a bit cramped for more than 2 to 3 nights. . The Internet speed is average, but the bandwidth is not able to meet the needs of remote work. There will be some lags when using the remote desktop. The hot water supply is normal, and free shower gel and shampoo are included. Cleaning is a bit lacking, as dust that has accumulated over time can be clearly seen on some countertops or trays containing supplies/electrical appliances. In addition, the sound insulation of the room is not good (and there is a slight smell of cheap perfume), and there are normal conversations in the corridor or loud noises from the tenants next door, such as placing items, watching TV, talking on the phone, etc., or even snoring. Hear it clearly. If you are sensitive to dust or sound, please think twice.

It was very large and had many rooms. The environment was generally OK. It was a little bit soundproof. There was also an abnormal sound from the air conditioner in room 369. I suggest repairing it.
