Response from Property: This hotel was very nice and clean. I had a very pleasant stay! The front desk staff was always kind and helpful, and they helped me use the laundry machine when my phone had a problem getting a confirmation code. They are able to use translators quickly if you cannot speak Chinese, and even if you can speak some Chinese, they still try their best to help you in English. They come by every day to restock whatever you need (water, toilet paper, and towels) and take your trash. The lady was always very kind. The surrounding area is okay, but doesn't have the cleanest or safest feeling, but it was safe after all. The hotel itself is great! It is also a 15-20 minute walk from Shanghai station, and it is a relatively short walk to/from the nearest bus stops. I had a single room to myself and it was very clean, quiet, and had good heating and lighting. I would definitely recommend staying here!
