Very close to Yuyuan subway station, within walking distance to Yuyuan and Chenghuang Temple. The hotel facilities are a bit old but the cleaning is good. The only thing is that the room does not have independent air conditioning, so there is no cooling in winter, only heating. I understand that the central control in old hotels has this problem, but the heating shouldn’t keep the room above 28 degrees, right? I told the front desk before leaving on the last day and they sent me a portable air conditioner but it was of no use. I asked the engineering department to take a look at it at night, and there was a slight improvement after some adjustments. But my friend and I were woken up by the heat at night. When checking out, the front desk said it might be a problem with the orientation, but the three-bed rooms are all in the same location.
