It was live-able and very spacious. Close to a lot of stores and restaurants should you want to do shopping. As for the alcoholic beverage lovers, it is right up your alley with tons of bars in the vicinity. However, there was somewhat an off setting odor of smoke. I could hear some noise from the room next door. Note that the mini bar in the room is an additional fee upon usage.

Excellent service - best location. The rooms are renovated with really good standard of fixtures. Excellent Cleanliness Breakfast was complete

I have a good experience staying at the hotel, the staff are helpful and the room is clean, though I stayed there for 1 night only. The gym is fantastic, it has lots of facilities. I wish I could stay longer.

Very elegant hotel in a historical neighborhood. Conveniently located among shopping dining and public transportation options.

The lower floor of the Cathay Garden building have obscured film on the windows. I asked to change my room to one with windows I could see out of. This seems to affect Twin Rooms. It was changed no problem and the rest was good.

After a few hotels used in last two weeks, JingJiang hotel is the best in all facilities equipped. The most comfortable hotel ever had. great place to live

Great Heritage, Great location very central in the heart of Shanghai - worth to give a try

It’s great hotel . My first priority chooses the place to stay every time when I return to Shanghai. I regard it as my home , and I also feel like my home. Thank You. I was satisfied with the accomodation during my staying.

Could see the hotel's basically remants of some classy types in the past (the building and bathroom etc.) but not sure re value for money/friendlieness, was given a room on the first floor (cathay gardens, or the low south building) with view completely blocked by walls. Staff in reception/cafeteria all very businesslike. To be fair it might have felt a harsh contrast coz visited after disneyland. Still, would try tower or other nearby hotels if visiting shanghai next time
