The location here is super convenient, right next to the Oriental Pearl Tower, with the IFC mall downstairs, and you can get to Line 2 without going out. The facilities and hygiene are also excellent. The shower water is very strong, especially the bedding. Once you lie down, you will sink into it and don't want to get up. It is super suitable for people like us who like soft beds^_^. The only shortcoming is that the cloakroom is a bit small. There is no room for a 24-meter suitcase in it. It can only be placed on the luggage rack in the room. The 20-meter suitcase is just right, but this may also be a problem with our room type. The most commendable thing is the enthusiastic service, which is awesome👍Hotel An contacted me the day before I arrived and asked me about my preference for the direction of the room. When he knew that I booked a skyscraper room because I didn't book a river view room, he also helped upgrade it to a panoramic room with a river view. Knowing that I went there for my birthday, he helped us book a restaurant seat. Because it was the weekend, there were many people everywhere. After several attempts, he finally helped us book a seat for the Italian restaurant. When I arrived, she was off duty, so she specifically asked her friend Zora to check us in. When we entered the room, the view outside the window was beautiful, and it was very close to the Pearl River. She even helped with some birthday decorations and cakes in such a tight time. She also went to the restaurant to deliver birthday bouquets and Rika little lion gifts for dinner. It was a surprise^_^. That night we went to an Italian restaurant. I don't know if there was any activity or event that night. The restaurant staff was obviously not enough. Although the attitude was very good, three people were busy with half of the hall. Even after the guests who had finished eating left, they didn't have time to clean up several tables for a long time. This should not happen in such a high-end western restaurant. However, breakfast is also in this restaurant. Good weather and good service make up for the shortcomings. The food is rich and delicious. There are obviously more waiters. You can overlook the scenery on both sides of the Huangpu River from the restaurant window. The Pearl Tower is right in front of you~ This is really a great hotel in Shanghai. Before I went there, I always heard people say that the service in Shanghai is divided into Chinese and foreigners. Here, I didn’t feel it at all. My husband likes it very much. He said that it was opened 10 years ago like the China World Trade Hotel. In the early years, we went there every year for the anniversary. I saw that the service was like the current Rika, and it has basically declined to no service... It seems that it is not a problem of the old hotel, but a problem of hotel management. In short, for this service, I will definitely choose the Ritz-Carlton Pudong when I come to Shanghai again
