Hotel lobby and public spaces are nice, but rooms are in need of upgrading. Carpets are dirty, furniture are dirty, bathroom tiles have stains, ceiling in bathroom is in need of fixing etc. Water bolier in room with teabags, but no instant coffee… Breakfast ok although coffee was not their specialty… Location is good, service great, but rooms need serious renovations. I stayed here in connection with going for conference in Shanghai . I had lunch and dinner in restaurant located at lobby floor- was ok. Limited knowledge of English in lobby and bell boy desk. Room was cold when I stayed there, air condition only blew cold air, no heating.

I have never seen such a bad hotel, and I was successfully disgusted. 1. It is said that you can check in at 8 o'clock in the morning. In fact, there is no room available after 12 o'clock, because although there are many rooms, they are all dirty and messy, and none of them have been cleaned. 2. The rooms below 200 are windowless, fully enclosed, dark and damp, and the foul air blows in your face. Many rooms above 200 are said to have windows, but in fact they are not windows at all, but a hole like the exhaust pipe of the water heater, see the picture. It is completely a dog meat under the guise of sheep. 3. The facilities are old and dilapidated, and malfunctions occur frequently. In the afternoon, it was said that the power outage would take 10 minutes for maintenance, but the actual power outage was nearly an hour. 4. The air conditioner does not cool at all on hot days, making the room hotter than the corridor. After waiting for several hours in a stuffy room with no air conditioning and dirty air, the front desk and the boss finally got in touch. Because there were no rooms of the same type, the boss only agreed to change to a worse dungeon-like room without windows or check out, and did not change to a better room. 5. The boss asked the fat lady at the front desk to check out without damage, but she pretended to be stupid and wanted to deduct the room fee. I guess she thought I didn't hear it and wanted to embezzle the room fee. 6. After staying in such a dirty environment for several hours, I finally checked out early. I didn't expect that more disgusting things were still to come! I felt unwell the next night, and when I tested for the new coronavirus antigen, it was positive! 7. I hope it can help future people avoid pitfalls.
