It was my first stay at this hotel and I am very satisfied. i will book again . My room was fine with a nice view , the smell in the room ( by open window ) was unpleasant, but that was probably due to the incense from the temple opposite and it didn't really bother me. I guess, you hardly smell it when the air conditioning was on. The metro station is a few minutes' walk away (tip: exit 14 and 15) . There are great food stores and restaurants in de basements of the shopping malls ,if you are looking for a small bite. If you like shopping in Shanghai I can definitely recommend this hotel.

Large and clean room. Construction work noise and traffic noise from the street present, acceptable though.

This art-deco theme-flirting hotel is tarnished by endless cigarette-smoke in the rooms and at the breakfast area. Perhaps there is more tolerence to cigarette smoke in China or maybe the indoor ventilation brings waves of smoke from other parts the buiding.

As usual, I stayed in this hôtel for a rest week-end. Very convient location in Jingan, front of Jingan Temple. Luxury équipement and furnitures, old style. Clean. Good breakfast.

Recently, when I come to Shanghai, I always choose this hotel. Very convenient location and good hospitality by the stuffs.

Best part of this hotel is the location. Train station is just across the road. Easy accessible. Room is quite spacios equip with all the amendities.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and everything was amazing during the trip. The room was large, with a soft bed and a wonderful view. A safe, hairdryer (located in the closet), mini-bar, TV are also provided. While I was sightseeing in the city, the cleaning service was doing an excellent job at the optimal time. The breakfasts were also great (you can choose European dishes: bacon, sausages, eggs or Chinese: noodles, dim sum and others). Local fruits were also served. If you come to Shanghai as a tourist, this hotel is a very good option because you can reach all the main attractions (Lujiazui, Yuyuan Garden, Art Museum, Zoo, Aquarium, Shanghai Tower) in less than 40 minutes. I will recommend this hotel to my friends!

Located just next to Jingan Temple and in downtown of SH. Upgraded my room when I check in.

The hotel is in a good location in front of Jingan temple , next to the subway station. The room is quite spacious, clean and very quiet despite of being in a busy area. The Staff is friendly, and polite.

Good reception with english speaker person. Good rooms and lovely breakfast, the sliced beef was very very good !

Everything good except the staff standing at the main entrance of the hotel are unfriendly. I was just asking which location to opt for my didi pick up, he replied me with a very rude manner. Otherwise it is a hotel to recommend to travellers. Should be a 5 stars service and because of this 4 stars for this time.

The view from the window was amazing, the service was also excellent; all the little things were in place, the bathroom was also pleased with its size. However, the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The corners had not been cleaned for a long time, and there were several stains on the carpet. It's not critical, but it's worth mentioning.
