Had an amazing stay at the hotel around Christmas time. The hotel is situated right on the Bund and had an incredibly inviting atmosphere, especially during the festive season. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and had all the amenities as expected of a 5 star hotel. Every staff we meet were very attentive and greeted us by name. Special thanks to Ms Evanta in the Gold Lounge who went above and beyond our expectations to make our stay special.

A representative hotel with a long history and Shanghai-style culture👍The location is excellent, the hotel management is professional and meticulous, and I met many foreign friends during my stay. The only drawback is that the toilet is not powerful enough and the bathroom has no ventilation system.

I didn't expect the overall quality to be very good. I thought the facilities would be old. I came here just to stay with my parents for a while, but I didn't expect it to be really good. The room facilities are similar to those of the Waldorf Astoria next door, and the service is pretty good. The event price is more than 2,000 per night. It’s quite cost-effective, I’ll come again.

Beautiful historic hotel from 1929, renovated in 2010. Everything was great, no problems. There is a cool cafe downstairs with delicious desserts. 1 minute from the scenic embankment
