酒店設施很復古，非常有老上海的特點，讓人感覺到彷彿穿越了百年的歷史。服務人員很熱情，非常貼心和周到，給我們安排了一個景觀很好的房間。還有免費的博物館遊覽，講解很細緻，讓人深刻體會到這家酒店豐厚的底藴。這次住店是一次非常愉快的體驗，期待下次有機會再次入住。

第三次入住和平飯店，這次是帶家裡長輩過來在上海過中秋，提到上海我第一個想到的酒店就是和平飯店，具有濃重歷史氣息及奢華氛圍的酒店。和平飯店見證了外灘乃至上海的繁華變遷史。和平飯店客房既有奢華酒店的品質又有周到的服務，尤其感謝Joyce Wang經理，入住期間全程照顧，給住店體驗一種賓至如歸的感覺。因為她的安排，我願意再次入住和平飯店並將酒店推薦給其他朋友。

有歷史有調調的酒店

Peace Hotel, with its long history and landmark, should be a place that many Shanghai people want to visit. They always want to experience it on a special day so that it is more memorable. I accidentally discovered that their Fairmont King Room has a package with tickets to the Shanghai Museum's Ancient Egyptian Civilization Exhibition. This exhibition is also a popular exhibition at present. It is available on the 1st of every month. It is very difficult to grab. I tried several times but failed. Taking advantage of the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, I decided to take my family to check in, visit the exhibition, and have a meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival. I placed an order a week in advance, and the customer service called me the next day to confirm the date of the exhibition. Unexpectedly, God sent the autumn typhoon Bebejia to Shanghai during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The typhoon passed through on the day of check-in, with wind and rain, which was quite a test. When we came to the prestigious Peace Hotel in the wind and rain, the well-trained doorman asked us about our purpose and immediately led us inside to check in. Miss Lisa at the front desk warmly received us and gave me the room type We were upgraded to a room on the 7th floor with a street view, and the bellhop took us to the room. Passing by the magnificent octagonal lobby, the crystal dove of peace was very eye-catching, making people stop and watch. The bellhop guided us into the room. On both sides of the foyer were the bathroom and cloakroom. The bed in the room was the highlight, which was higher than the average one. It was well maintained, with flat corners and neat corners. The items in the room were neatly arranged. The bathroom had two sinks, and there was a shower room and an independent bathtub for dry and wet separation. Floor towels were laid in all areas to highlight its luxury. The hotel's own museum was also the purpose of our trip. There were four lectures a day, two in the morning and afternoon at 10:00, 11:00, 15:00 (English) and 16:00. The lecturer took us around to learn about the past and present of the Peace Hotel and related celebrity anecdotes, which could increase our knowledge. After the visit, we returned to the room and found that there were some minor problems with the room. The duty manager came over immediately and decided to change the room. We were given a room on the 5th floor facing Nanjing Road, and then he took our luggage to the room in person. After everything was settled, he came over with the person in charge of the room to say hello and gave us fruits and chocolates, which made us feel embarrassed. After all, it was caused by a typhoon that had not been seen in decades. I was satisfied with his way of handling the matter and deeply understood the concept of customer first. In the evening, I went to the concierge to get the tickets for the 9/17 Shanghai Expo and met him again. Seeing him busy at the front-line post in person, I felt that he was the one who should be praised most for this stay, which made us deeply understand the responsibility that managers of high-star hotels should have. It's a pity that I forgot to ask his name 😏 After dinner, we returned to the room. The well-trained room attendant did a good job of turndown service for us. Every employee I met during my stay was very polite, and I realized his good service concept. Although his breakfast variety was not very rich, it was of excellent quality and good service. My family was very satisfied with this stay. The greetings and farewells were polite and thoughtful. Peace Hotel is indeed worthy of its reputation and truly deserves its reputation. Will stay here again next time if I have the chance.
