Great mini break from the city. Loved the japanese ryokan styling throughout the rooms and public areas. Tatami mats, bamboo curtains and subdued lighting consistent throughout. Very clever design. Every element lent to the peaceful escape and my wife and I thought that for the sub 1000 pricing it was great value. Our visit to the Hotspring facilities was very pleasant and a welcome soak for tired bones. Zhujiajiao is much more pleasant when the hoards of tourists are gone so enjoyed the pleasant strolls through the lanes after being refreshed in the hot water and coming “home” to our clean and comfortable room was a joy. Breakfast was fine - but loved the room it was served in even more - a nice long low table with peaceful views to the outside garden. This place is great.
