Very friendly hotel staff, convenient hotel location. We had a pleasant stay

The hotel is directly across the street from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, in the old French Concession, thus both the hotel and its surroundings are beautiful, historical and charming. Everything is clean, the service is helpful with some English skills, and the breakfast is good.

Located within walking distance to IAPM Mall and subway station, bunch of eateries around the corner. Hotel itself is cozy and quiet. Spacious room as well.

Great location and excellent hotel.

Literally a late check in and somewhat of an early checkout for us. It did what it needed. Although given the heat of the city it is felt, that with the price, two bottles of water are not enough. I do appreciate this is a personal preference. Therefore this is just for information. If you’re a television watcher then the quality of the channel is not fantastic. You are getting this hotel for its location, the added bonus is its appearance. All of which ticked the boxes for myself and my partner.

We enjoyed the classic atmosphere and service. The neighbourhood is very exquisite and especially close to Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. Next time we will also being our tennis equipment to have a Sunday morning play. Very charming :-))

Stayed for a week, a model of elegance ~ Shanghai's plum rain season, heavy rain every day, the original trip was saved by this hotel! The room is quiet and quiet, with a Spanish-style balcony, and the gym equipment is brand new. Turn left when you go out to the prosperous Huaihai Road, turn right to the Hengfu style area, and opposite is the extremely literary Conservatory of Music. The subway and bus are within walking distance. There are vegetable markets and convenience stores nearby, and it is convenient to take a taxi. The beauty of Fenyang Road is beyond words. The wide sidewalk under the sycamore trees is super comfortable to ride in the wind! The front desk service is in place, responsive to requests, and responsible for hygiene.

The location is convenient, just on Fenyang Road, and it's a good place to take photos, but the hotel rooms are a bit old, and the facilities are a bit old. You can stay and experience it and take some photos. When I went there, the garden afternoon tea was closed. I don't know if it was closed because of poor business or for some other reason.

I booked this hotel during the high school entrance exam. I originally thought that it was close to the exam site so I could take a break. I didn't expect the hotel facilities and services to be so great. The front desk was very enthusiastic and professional. They took the initiative to help me solve the problem of having to check in repeatedly due to separate bookings. The room was fully equipped with facilities and a beautiful environment. In addition, there were wedding luncheons and dinners scheduled for both days of the high school entrance exam, but the hotel was very soundproof, providing a quiet review environment for the children. This is a guesthouse. It's all a photo scam. It's disguised as a boutique old house, but it's actually a guesthouse from the 1990s. The facilities are old and the service is perfunctory. It's the worst hotel I've ever encountered in Shanghai. After staying for three nights, the wallpaper of the "balcony room" was moldy and turned up, and the door lock was almost broken and couldn't be locked. The lady at the front desk generously upgraded us to the "special suite". I didn't expect that big doesn't mean good. It's said to be the best suite in the hotel. The original price was more than 3,000, but there were more and more problems: 1. As shown in the video, the toilet water pressure is insufficient, the water tank is leaking, and the water pressure is not enough to flush normally. It is possible that things can't be flushed down at any time. After telling the front desk, the front desk just asked someone to "check it out later" and didn't explain how to solve it later. 2. When I returned to the room at night and pressed the switch, there was a bang, the chandelier bulb burned out, and then the circuit breaker tripped, which was frightening. The line is so old and dangerous. It's the first time I've encountered a circuit breaker trip in the room when I stay in a hotel. The cleaning master told me that "this place has not been renovated for many years." 3. The basic facilities in the top suites are all old and dilapidated. As shown in the video, even the iron was broken and leaked constantly. I asked the front desk to change an iron, but when I returned to the room, I saw a vertical steam iron. The broken iron was not taken away and given to the next guest to use? Or there was not even a normal small iron? I booked a terrace room for the college entrance examination and asked for a very quiet one. The front desk was enthusiastic and checked me in quickly. The hotel is decorated in a grand style, quiet and peaceful, and every tree and grass is soothing. The aunt who cleans the room is really very nice, smiling and polite, and cleans quietly according to the requirements. Breakfast is from 7 to 10 o'clock, and when it is almost over, she will remind you to take whatever you need as soon as possible, and she will not rush you! Personal washing items are also very easy to use. Overall, I am very satisfied and give a good review!
