Hanting Hotel (Shanghai Bund Jiujiang Road) Reviews

Hotel was nice enough and in a great location, but obviously a bit older. No lift up to the upper floors so you have to carry your bags up from the street, and then from reception (or to reception on 12th floor) to your room. Wasn’t a fan of the breakfast - was a set pack each morning - and with food allergies I couldn’t check what it was so threw most in the bin each day. There is no sign on the front of the building, but is one above the lift (in Chinese).

Its was good walking distance from The Bund,malls and restaurant.Amazing view.

The worst breakfast of any hotel I’ve ever been. The hotel is really hard to find, just one floor of a building. Poor service and facilities. Avoid.

Perfect location, super close to Nanjing road and the Bund! Small hotel on the 12th floor, some rooms were under maintenance so there was some boxes in the common area, but the next day everything was clean. Basic amenities as slippers, clean towel and packed breakfast are included. Really enjoy the view from the hotel

The hotel's location is super convenient. The room is clean and comfortable enough. We can see city view from our room window.

The hotel is placed in the best location in Shanghai, just by walking around it you will be able to see all great tourist spots. The room was nice, the beds were big and comfortable, and also the hotel workers were very helpful and we were able to leave our luggage for a few hours after the check-out. Also, the view is magnificent! Totally recommend this hotel for anyone who is traveling for the first time.

We had a pleasant stay at Hanting Hotel (Shanghai Bund Jiujiang Road). The room was nice and clean, small but cozy and comfortable. We had a really good sleep. The highlight of this hotel was the location. It was ideal, it was just located a few minutes away from The Bund which was very convenient. The lobby is on the 12th floor so it can be a bit difficult to find the right building. You just need to take the lift and go upstairs. The only drawback was the breakfast. All the food was packed in small plastic bags. If they provide a better breakfast they will have better rates. Apart from that, we had a really nice time there. If you are looking for a hotel close to The Bund, Hanting hotel might be a nice choice for your trip.

Good location. Opposite is a church. 5mins walk to Nanjing East road and the bund night view is nice. Room Abit small but ok for 1-2 nights transit.

I will give this fellas 5 stars only because rooms looked exactly as in pictures . Location is just excellent you can’t have better one for this price point in this area.

So nice the Hotel, location is top. They don’t speak English but they try to help you as much as possible.

The location is perfect: it’s very close to the bund and nanjing street, the metro station is also very close. The room was ok, except for one thing. We booked a room with a window, but it was so small and not in the main wall, but in a small corridor, that we felt deceived at some point. Room cleaning wasn’t very good, we had to ask them to clean almost every time. Inside a room was a huge pole, which made not a big room even smaller. Front desk staff were ok, not very friendly but still helped us with our problems. Breakfast is a pre-packed food, we didn’t find it very tasty. Overall, it’s an ok choice if you want to live close to the main attractions, other that that it’s very mid
