Orange Hotel (Shanghai Hongqiao Yan'an West Road) Reviews

Tho Hotel was in a good location near some Restaurant and the Hongqiao train station. The staff was friendls and the rooms had all that was needed. The only thing i didn’t like was a man smoking in the lovbby whilst he was checking in, even thought there was a sign saying smoking prohibited.. the receptionist didn’t say anything. Other than that i had a pleasant stay

Room was clean, shower had great water pressure. I booked this place because it was close to Laowei Jie and had a refrigerator. The refrigerator didn’t work properly, in that it didn’t remain cold. It could be because of power saving methods and linked to the air conditioning/lighting controls. It’s great for a solo traveler, but I wouldn’t book if traveling as a couple.

Conveniently located and within a comfortable walking distance to Lao Wai Jie and Sunshine International Plaza (jewelry, pearls, fashion and electronic goods). Several trendy restaurants, cafes and salons in the area if you are looking for something beyond your usual hotel buffet. The bed and linen was clean but some maintenance of the room was required. It is satisfactory as a place to sleep before your flight or high-speed train journey to your next destination.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Orange Hotel. The room was a suitable size and had everything we needed, and the hotel is very close to some great restaurants and a naturopathic clinic. The owner/manager was very friendly when we checked in, and experienced with working with foreigners and passports.

So so, on picture room look bigger.. it’s ok for price but there are better hotels for same price around.

The design of the room is fairly new and modern and the breakfast is okay, but unfortunately there was a bad smell in the bathroom

The receptionist was kind and helpful. The room was clean and neat. It was nearby restaurants and front desk helped us get our outside orders in our room. The breakfast buffet was also delicious! Will definitely book here again next time we visit Shanghai.

Very nice

Amazing service. They went out of their way to help me have a pleasant stay and catch my connecting flight. The furniture and decor were new and modern and overall very inviting. A few more wipedowns of surfaces would make it perfect. Great value for the money.

It was my first time staying in the room. The smart devices in the room were very convenient. The front desk staff were also very polite and would take care of the guests' feelings. They would also greet guests with a smile when they entered and left the room. Although most hotels would call early on the check-out day to inquire whether to renew the lease or urge the guests to leave, which is reasonable. However, when staying in many hotels under Huazhu, they would only call to inquire about the guests around 13:30 when the guests were almost awake. Huazhu's service is unquestionable. The service and inquiries about renewals avoided the points where the guests might rest, which is more considerate and careful than many hotels on the market.

The room is clean and tidy, the supporting services are also great, the stay is very comfortable, it is close to Longxi Road subway station and convenient for travel. Good review!
