It is in a convenient location and neiborhood. And it is close to railway station. I enjoyed staying here again. Laundry machine is free to use, but if you don’t have Wechat, it is not easy to use. I got some help from other guest.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and it is disappointing to see a decline in service and quality. I paid for a superior double room and was given a smaller room, when I asked to change I was told to pay more. I asked what the difference was between their smallest room and the double then, and the receptionist was unable to answer. I was given a slightly better but still small room. The fridge did not work in the room and there was persistent hammering above, on a Sunday. Check in and check out both took far longer than usual, which could be because the hotel is simply a lot busier these days. One of the key selling points of this hotel was the quiet and the space, which has meant this trip has not met expectations, I genuinely hope that this improves in the future.

The front desk staff offered us a room with no windows, even though we did not book that. The rooms do not have very good soundproofing. Could hear people talking all night. Also, the cleaning staff begin their jobs very early before 8 AM which causes a lot of rustling and noise in the corridor and could be heard in the bedroom

I like this Ji hotel than other Ji hotel at other areas, it is located in a new building Gubei Soho having nice outlook. The staffs are all helpful and the robot can help to send my supper. Very amazing as the room is designed with voice controlling. The location is strategic, within 5 minutes walk to Yili Road metro station line 10, and can reach yu yuan and nanjing east road without interchange.

Hotel is very clean and is near to the line 10 metro. There are alot of Japanese restaurants around. Was lucky to be checked into the room early as well. Only con was that the sound proofing is not very good. Can totally hear housekeeping next door, all the banging and vacuuming. And u can also hear water flushing through the system when other people are using. So I was woken up a few times from this in the middle of the night.

The hotel is great... But only 1 thing is the aircond wil auto off n auto on again... Cannot constantly on... I duno is the unit I stay or the whole hotel is like that due to save energy... Free self service laundry which is very good for traveller... The cleaner there also very helpful and nice...the room come with big screen TV... Very nice... Inside the room with an voice control '小爱同学＇，which is very interesting and can help to switch on or off the light, curtain and TV, very helpful to command with voice without walking.

Breakfast choices are same everyday, not recommended if you like to try others food for your breakfast. You still can get McD and Subway at the business centre right opposite the hotel.

I booked this place as I arrived late at night from Hongqiao Airport. The check-in was extremely long as the staff didn’t know to proceed with my passport & visa (this never happened anywhere else in China). The room, even if new, was incredibly dirty and this is just unacceptable- the ***** hair on the floor totally grossed me out. I can never stay there again.

Conveniently located opposite Takashimaya and metro line 10. Room is clean and spacious. Hotel staff are very helpful. Would like to thank Ms Wang Xiao Feng who helped us with our food delivery order on Meituan app when we needed supper.

customer service was good and staff was friendly. the hotel location is alright but convenience store are further than a stone away. room is clean with teasets and toilet amenities

Had a comfortable stay. Hotel is about 5 mins walk away from the metro station. Takashimaya mall is opposite with many food options in the basement. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood.

This is my second time staying at this hotel! I love the convenience to the metro and it’s connected to my doctors office building! There are several delicious western food restaurants nearby for delivery! Taco Truck, Spread the Bagel, Five Guys, and Shake Shack, just to name a few. Staff are friendly and helpful although none of them speak English…it wasn’t a problem at all! They are willing to help! I didn’t experience any noise disturbances during both of my stays as mentioned in previous reviews. The beds aren’t the most comfortable, in my opinion, but that could be because I prefer a softer bed. I love that they have several bottles of water in the room and many are kept in the refrigerator, as having cold water is a plus, especially during these extreme humid days! Upon check out, be sure to ask for a “free gift” as they will not offer it to you unless you ask!

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The accommodation itself was excellent. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing a comfortable stay. The amenities offered were top-notch, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring the city.
One of the standout features of this hotel is its location. Being situated directly opposite Takashimaya, it's perfect for those who enjoy shopping. The convenience of having such a major shopping destination within walking distance cannot be overstated.
However, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. The front desk staff seemed to lack experience. During check-in, I was incorrectly informed that breakfast was not included in my stay, despite having a printed voucher that stated otherwise. It was only after showing the voucher that the issue was resolved, which was a bit frustrating.
Additionally, when I asked the front desk staff for recommendations on tourist attractions in Shanghai, I was told that there was nothing fun to do in the city. This was quite disappointing and unhelpful, as Shanghai is known for its numerous attractions and vibrant culture.
In conclusion, while the accommodation and location of the hotel are excellent, the service at the front desk needs improvement. Better training for the staff would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.
