Aijia Xiaoyuanzi Hotel (Shanghai Bund Branch) Reviews

The room we booked was right at the entrance, so we could hear everything, it was very noisy. We also had issues with our toilet and the wall had a stain…I asked to change rooms and payed the difference. The second room was a bit better but still noisy.

The location is nearby the Bund, that is convenient to go around. My booked room is big with variety of amenities. They also have laundry service in first floor for using, if needed. I recommend you stay in here for your trip in Shanghai

A bit of a musky smell when going in and floor was a bit dusty. Location was next to the huangpu river which was very nice, but a bit too far away from any other attractions or the metro station. Washing machines and dryers are available for a fee.

First time in Shanghai and this place made me feel at home! The room and common areas were very clean. The location was great for getting around Shanghai, whether by walking or taking the metro. Lily and Nannan were very helpful, friendly and patient with me. 10/10 - would definitely recommend!!

I recommend you stay in here for your trip in Shanghai. However, I found the receptionist's attitude not really friendly and enthusiastic. I booked 2 nights but they would not clean the room or change towels or replenish toilet paper without request. This hotel also does not have free drinking water in the room.

Perfect location, cute unit, just a few steps away from the Bund. Loved my stay there. Negative point: Not enough utensils for cooking.

Great place except our room is on the seventh floor and the elevator is only up to sixth floor.

This hotel was okay in general but on the day of check out we went for breakfast. When we came back all our things were gone from the room. When we asked the reception they said someone else had checked out our room and didn’t want the stuff in the room. Our things were all our clothes, toiletries, shoes and computer. We were shocked and asked for our things back. Prior to breakfast we had packed our stuff already. When we got it back all was emptied and ransacked and dumped into a paper bag! We were of course furious even though nothing was missing. But the electronic key system is not safe if they just let anyone check out other people’s rooms!
