The hotel is tugged in a quiet and beautiful street in SH, somewhere we have truly felt relaxed and recharged. One of the staff contacted us before we arrived to get the ETA. When we actually arrived, she saw us with a big suitcase and showed us another room that might suite us better. All the rooms were decorated differently, so they could really suit different needs from customers. We are impressed by the quality of the mattress, pillows, everything in the room really, and the breakfast!! The food is so delicately made and displayed. They asked my son if he would like some noodles as he was overwhelmed by the food and didn't know what to take at first. The noodles arrived so well-made and flavoursome, my son just loved it! We just felt like we were really well looked after. We would definitely return to the same hotel if we stay in SH again.

Based in a historic building in French Concession, it’s a good location with great staff. Hotel has a good spa and cool balcony. But rooms are Alice in Wonderland style bizarre, very cramped and almost feeling as if you’re camping (slanted ceilings, constant crouching).

I couldn't leave due to the typhoon, so they naturally extended my check-out, which was very thoughtful! I will choose this hotel next time I come to watch a drama, and try a theme room!

The hotel is quiet in the bustling city, and the rooms are of different styles. Every detail is worth calming down and appreciating carefully. The color matching and control are amazing. The profound cultural heritage, calm and not exaggerated, were all carved by Ms. Wang Yanding one by one during the epidemic. The hotel restaurant "Ye Ye Bodhi" is worthy of being the ceiling of Shanghai vegetarian food. Regardless of the environment and dishes, it all reflects the unique delicacy and warmth of the female founder.

I tried Ye Ye Bodhi in Hangzhou and it was very good. I heard that Zuo Ting Shang Yuan was opened by them, so I came to try it. I won’t spoil the room, the photos can’t capture its beauty. There are 24 rooms in total, each with a different theme. Unlike a five-star hotel, the rooms in Zuo Ting Shang Yuan are not large, but they reveal the warmth of home and the designer’s interpretation of beauty and tranquility. Living here, there is no steel and concrete, everything is as warm as jade, and you can enjoy a complete relaxation of your body and brain. In addition, the bedding is very commendable. According to the housekeeper, they are all Portuguese bedding. If you have requirements for sleep, you can come and try it. In addition, the toiletries and bathroom facilities inside are all of very high quality. I suggest you read the books in the room. The founder, Ms. Wang Yanding, is a very remarkable person who does everything with heart and perseverance, which is worth learning from.
