The room is next to Lin Fengmian's former residence. It looks ordinary from the outside, and the passage is even a little old and messy. The decoration in the room is very old Shanghai style, and the supplies are also very exquisite and complete (for example, tea sets, microwave ovens, and kettles are all bright red). The walls of the bathroom are made up of a variety of flower tiles, which is very stylish. When you go out, you will see Nanchang Road and Sinan Road, which are full of cultural and artistic talents and tung trees. Turning a corner is Huaihai Middle Road, which is very convenient for eating, shopping and taking taxis. The quality of the bedding is also very good, and the sleep quality is very good. There is a little noise from people walking upstairs, but it doesn't affect it much.

A little shabby but that’s fine, as the room was justifiable clean and location was good. Service was great too! I required help for the wifi & carrying of luggage on different days, and I was promptly assisted for both.

The location is great, but the room is super small, during the holidays it's very expensive, you can stay in Hilton for similar or cheaper price 20 mins far from the city centre. They gave me the toothbrushes to take with me upstairs. It wasn't worth the price as I paid ¥1600/ per night for the worst service

Sanitary dust and flying insects can be seen everywhere. The beds are sagging on the edge. The location is not bad. The air conditioner is set to 23°C before going to bed. At around 2 o'clock in the morning, the whole family was woken up by the heat. This repeatedly affected the quality of sleep many times. The only advantage is that it is quite convenient to your destination and the subway.

The location is very good, the transportation is convenient, and it is very close to the subway station. The service is in place, the facilities are acceptable, and the price-performance ratio is still very high. I will choose this hotel again next time I come to Shanghai!

This hotel is great! It's my first time in China with limit of budget and here is very reasonable price. The location is close to touristic area, delecious Mala a, train station and easy to find. But for traveller who can't speak Chinese you might confuse the name with another hotel on the map. So, better to ask receptionist to pin location for you if you want to use Didi. Room and facilities is nice and spacious more than expected I stayed in Family room type on the 1st night. Bed is great, toilet is clean with automatic toilet flushing, movie screen is very huge! Then I extend 3 more nights when my brother arrived but the room was fully booked so I had to switch to small room with no window. It was good and cheap but for none smoker, you might smell smoke easily. On the lobby, you can get free water, coke, popcorn, tea and coffee. Very good! The best is receptionist!!! They are very nice and helpful. I can't speak any Chinese and they can't speak Endlish but they tried to communication via translator which is really helpful. I definately recommend to new traveler in China who need to save budget same as me.

Room clean but a bit inconvenient to carry the luggage to upstairs. The response from owner very well.easy to be contacted by using WeChat. I want to complain the kettle not so well to be used, she instantly give me a new one and 12 bottles of water. Thanks. Only not so good for me who like to order delivery of food. During night, it’s inconvenient to be delivered

Very convenient location. On a street that always has bikes, very close to Nanjing West station. Reception service is amazing and people are very nice. Clean and good amenities. Price to performance ratio is good, especially for the higher prices in Shanghai. Will come here again the next time I visit.

I have stayed in too many hotels, but this one still amazed me. Every item in the room was carefully designed and selected by the owner. The quality is superb, and the attention to detail is impeccable. The high-quality drinks in the minibar, the lavender sleep spray, and the super high-end and comfortable mattresses and bedding can instantly put you in a dream. The vegetarian breakfast is even more carefully prepared, leaving people wanting more. I especially want to praise the housekeeper Xiao Tang. From the moment we met, his meticulous service was caring and warm. He patiently and meticulously accompanied the guests to introduce every function and purpose of the hotel until they left the hotel. During this period, you can see him anytime you need him. His warm smile is impressive. He is a super housekeeper with a special sense of responsibility. Zuoting is a hotel that feels like home. I will definitely come again when I come to Shanghai.

I definitely would give the stuff and especially Richard an 10 of 5 if possible! Their service were amazing!!!! They helped us so much with everything to get smoothed into the Chinese world! They helped with installing the right applications for us and the get a discount for our stay at the hotel! Thank you so much! The hotel is in a great location 3 minutes walk to the metro station, French concession with restaurants and cafe is 5 to 10 minutes walk! But there also also direct cafes beside the building! The breakfast is amazing and very clean and tastes great! The there as well is super kind and helpful. See you soon again:)
