Hotels near Tianguang Temple, Shanghai

It's not bad. The hotel in Liantang is quite clean. The size of the room is not bad. What I want to complain about is that there is no elevator. . . . . Staircase hotels are not common these days😳

no hotel sign board.. have to walk through the garden. . hotel should have service to pick up foreigner right at metro station. for registration I suggest then to print English form as I cannot understand Chinese word. but I astonish and good memory of their decoration atmosphere way.

This hotel is about 10 mins walk from the Zhujiajiao Metro Station on line 17 . Its about 40 min trip from the Hongqiao Railway Station (terminal station). Line 17 operates about every 7 minutes during the day and every 10 mins during the night. Therefore this line is not frequent as say as Line 2. I choose this hotel ,because it has an outdoor swimming pool and I wanted to explore a new area of Shanghai. Firstly the outdoor swimming pool was closed when i stayed at this hotel in (September 2023) - there was no water in the pool!. In September, Shanghai experiences temperatures well above 27 to 30C, so it bit premature to close the pool in September. Mid October would be fine. It would be nice if the hotel operator/owner could inform Trip.com, that the pool is closed. The room was very comfortable and nice views of the surrounding area with some historic homes. The Rain Head shower was great. Air-con were easy to use and functioned well. As to be expected in most Chinese hotels (which are not part of western brand) there is very limited English available from hotel staff, but with English translators on cell phones, this is not really an issue. There are several shops in the same street of the hotel, but unfortunately there is no Family Mart, no 711 or Lawson (common brands in China) However, there is small Family Mart at Zhujiajiao metro station. Many local restaurants nearby and KFC - about 10 min walk down the same street of the hotel. In this area, there is some evidence of historic homes and residences, which makes the area unique. Overall, the hotel represents good value for money and appropriate choice to explore the local historic area, but not downtown Shanghai (which is too far from this hotel)

One of the best places in our lives (and we have visited more than 50 countries). An excellent house in the very center of Shanghai Venice, but which at the same time allows you to feel secluded among the bustle. Thank you very much to the owner - very clean, friendly, greeted and escorted to a taxi. An unreal beauty balcony with a beautiful view of the canal, all in greenery and flowers ❤️ Best place in this city! We will definitely be back!! 😘

During my visit to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, I stayed at the Manyu Homestay, which was a great experience! The location of the homestay is excellent. It is located in the ancient town, and the ancient streets and alleys are just outside the door, which is very convenient for sightseeing. The room is warm and comfortable, clean and tidy, and the bedding is soft, which makes people sleep well all night. The boss and staff are warm and thoughtful, and the service is considerate, making people feel at home. Here, you can feel the tranquility and simplicity of the ancient town, and enjoy a comfortable accommodation environment and high-quality service. Highly recommended to friends who come to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the International Shanghai Wonderland. The customer experience has been exceptional. My wife has left some leftover of cosmetics on the table in the hotel room. The staff Bruce took the trouble to contact us via WeChat to make sure we didn’t leave that behind by mistake. He also alerted us about the light show just before its beginning. The light show was spectacular & not to be missed

The owner's care can be felt from the layout and decoration design. There is a super large lakeside terrace outside the room with a great view. You can sit and read a book and be in a daze, and relax and be free. The children climb up and down in the room, and have their own fun. It is safe. Unlike other parent-child rooms, this is really like installing a big paradise in the room. And most importantly, there are no other naughty children. The safety is also in place, and it is really reassuring. My wife is particularly concerned about safety. The bed in the hotel is always afraid that the child will fall off. This upstairs is similar to tatami, and there is no fall. We are very relieved, and the children fall asleep beautifully with the starry sky. The floor is very high, the air conditioner is below, and there is a ceiling fan on the top. It is a little hot upstairs, but it also eliminates the worry that the child will kick the quilt and blow the air conditioner and get cold. The fried dumplings made by the boss for breakfast the next morning are also a must. Usually I chase them to feed them, but today I chased them and asked for two more. There is also a newly developed small yard next to the large yard on the first floor. The children catch chickens and dig vegetables. The boss said that they can dig eggplants and take them home to eat. It's really green. But we don't know how to cook, so we didn't dig them back. The boss is friendly and like a friend, and he also planned a cycling route for us. Treasure homestay. My wife said she must come again next time.

The room is big and the facilities are relatively new. There is still a bit of smell when the cabinet door is opened, and there are carbon buns. The breakfast is a bit too simple, so it is better to cancel it. The buns will not taste good if they are a little cold. The location of the hotel is good. I chose this hotel after reading other people's reviews that it is quiet in a busy city. It was not like this when I came. I heard the sound of electric saws near the room in the afternoon of the first day, and there was a pile of construction waste outside the window. I felt it was not good. I heard the sound of battery trucks transporting garbage in the middle of the night. The construction started before 8 o'clock on the second and third mornings, including but not limited to electric saws, pneumatic nail guns, hammers, dragging steel bars, flatbed trucks... If the construction time cannot be coordinated, should the affected rooms not be sold?

Wall crack recommended this Star Fire Camp B&B. Checking in after the National Day, it happened to be raining heavily. It was not convenient to order takeaway in the village. The owner of the hotel helped contact the restaurant to send it over, and solved the urgent need of the belly. The room was very clean. After the rain, I took a bath comfortably in the cold weather and felt cured. In the morning, the front desk lady prepared a beautiful Jiugongge breakfast and also helped to make an appointment for the paddle board course. I am very grateful to the boss and staff for their warm reception, I wish business better and better.
