Positives first! The staff was wonderful. Kind and attentive, they helped me with everything I needed. They assisted in booking museum tickets and in getting directions, got the wifi fixed right away...always with a smile. The hotel and it's rooms are beautiful and we'll kept, lots of services. Surrounded by the airport, train station and major highway - but you can't hear a thing from the room! Shuttle to major places (on a schedule) and centrally located in Shanghai. Negatives. It is not near anything tourist friendly without a cab (didi), if you want to walk. The aircon in the room never got super cool, so I was warm all night (23c) which can be a negative for people who sleep 🥶. Breakfast is served but extra and a little pricy for a buffet. All in all my review is highly positive. I would highly recommend this hotel and would love to return in slightly cooler weather to use the lovely rooftop pool and get a facial in the spa!

I stayed for 4 nights, and both the bathroom and the room were kept clean every time. As a result, I was able to stay in the room very comfortably. Luckily for Japanese people, there was a bathtub in the bathroom, so I was able to soak in the bathtub. However, when it rained, the part of the window where the mattress was laid out leaked in, which was a bit of a problem. As this is such a good hotel, I hope they will improve this. Nanxiang Station is the closest, but it is quite a walk, so I recommend taking a taxi.
