I like the unique design of the hotel. As soon as I entered the door, the lobby staff warmly greeted me with a smile. The hotel front desk also provided tea, snacks and candies for me to pick up, which was exactly what I needed. The front desk staff cared meticulously and patiently and professionally explained the surrounding attractions and food. The room was spacious, well-lit, clean, and refreshing. The bed was also very comfortable. The room was centrally air-conditioned, which was simply a palace-level enjoyment. There are many places to go shopping when going out. They will also help to provide chartered car services when going to attractions. The car model is very comfortable and the whole journey is very enjoyable. It's so considerate! It's really good. C1 really makes people feel at ease when staying there, which is not the case in other hotels! It's really considerate. I will often stay in such a hotel in the future.

1. We arrived at the hotel entrance around 11pm. My husband came down to move the luggage, but the security guard at the door didn't seem to help! After he got off the car, I took the two children and pushed the luggage into the lobby. Because there were a lot of luggage and the children were young and a little sleepy, I complained to the front desk! Then the front desk called someone to help!
2. I went down to have breakfast at 9am the next morning (the restaurant's breakfast ends at 10am), and many foods were gone! There is still a charge for children who are 1.3 meters tall (the front desk didn't tell me when I checked in)
3. The room still meets the 5-star standard! It's just that the view through the window, the glass is really dirty!
4. Compared with other 5-star hotels, the service is still a bit worse!

The room was pretty good and very close to Shangrao High-speed Railway Station, but we arrived too late and there was no pick-up service. It was too close to take a taxi and no one was willing to take the order. A car was sent to the station the next day and the service was good. Breakfast was not bad.

Really nice hotel. The room was actually above expectation. For such a low price its really a deal you should not miss. There is even relaxing music when you start the shower.
For information : I took the double queen size room. The distance from the train station is 17min by walk but its an easy walk on your way you can grab some streetfood on 上饶路(Shangrao road)。

The location is not so far and you can walk from Shangrao station about two blocks opposite the station in 8-10 mins. Everything is perfect . Room is very wide and has hi tech technology for any facilities equipment in the room. The breakfast line is great. At night you can walk around the area to find food stall or restaurant for your dinner. There is 1-2 minimart. The front staff is so kind and has a good service to call a taxi for us on the rainy day. Recommend this hotel if u want to visit Shangrao for sightseeing.

As we purposely chose to stay near Shangrao Railway Station for train travel purposes, for us the location was great as it was only a short 10min walk away (just make sure you know how to navigate). The food offerings in the surrounding area of the hotel is nonexistent so make sure that you pay for the breakfast buffet which was plentiful with a standard Chinese selection and a limited continental choice (see photos). It’s about a 30 yuan 20 minute taxi ride (get a Didi taxi or hail the several that are parked outside) to the city centre proper if you are heading there (less than 10km). Room was clean and the staff were professional.

This is a good hotel and good value for money. It is located very near to Shangrao train station within a walking distance. It is very convenient for traveler. The room is clean and well maintain. Tge bed is clean and soft i feel so comfortable. There are all facilities and amenities need for most traveler in the room. It is smoking room but it contain slightly smoking smell. It is no problem at all. I think this is the best hotel if you are looking for the hotel not far from train station. The break fast is ok for money we pay.

One of the only hotels inside Wangxiangu. However for the price I expect a bit more. The front desk staff weren't even able to help us book transportation tickets or give us any info for onward travel. Rooms were nice but we got placed in a room near the reception and it didn't have any of the vibes that you hope to get while staying inside Wangxiangu. The gardenia scented toiletries were amazing!
They do provide transportation up from the Visitor Center to Reception. Be aware that the rooms are all up on the hill while all the main activities are down near the river.

I took my parents on a trip during the National Day holiday and booked this homestay. It was unexpectedly great. Mingsuku is very close to Wangxian Valley. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, clean and sanitary. The owner and his family are very friendly. The Langqiao Restaurant next door tastes good. We got up early and the owner made a hearty breakfast for us. We can also get flags and hats for free. I recommend it to everyone. AAnonymous UserI want to start by sincerely thanking the uncle who works at this homestay for all his hospitality and attention. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were very well treated and taken care of. I will definitely remember our stay in Wangxian and hopefully come back to see the uncle.
My partner and I visited from Canada and I speak very little mandarin. Despite this, the uncle and the other residents of the neighborhood were very patient and helpful when communicating.
The check-in process was electronic. You scan the uncle’s QR code with your WeChat and register your information. For foreigners, it would be helpful to have WeChat running before arriving. The check-in was in Chinese, but I just screenshot the page and translated it and had no problems.
We stayed in room 301, it was a double room and true to the pictures. The cleanliness was good and it was quite confortable. There are large windows for lots of sun. The water is hot and the AC is functional, no complaints.
The homestay is very well located about a 10 minute drive from the Wangxian scenic area, and roughly an hour from Shangrao station. In the vicinity, there are many restaurants and a little supermarket.
Since it was quiet the night we checked-in, the uncle took us to visit the town nearby and gave us lots of recommendations for our visit such as going to the scenic area in the afternoon, and staying until the lights come on to see the night view.
We had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant as recommended by the uncle. The food was home-cooked and the quantities were generous. Although we ate at the neighbour’s, the uncle also has some food and beverages you can buy, as well as some tables where you can eat.
Later in the evening, the uncle and neighbours invited us to sit with them and we shared some great moments together.
The next morning, the uncle had prepared a very typical Chinese breakfast for us to try. We then went up to the scenic area around midday and came back around 7pm. When we came back, we had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant again and shared some more moments with them.
The uncle and neighbours helped us coordinate transportation to our next location and gave us recommendations to better enjoy our next destination which we followed and it turned out great thanks to them.
The community is what makes this place charming and I recommend it to anyone.

Iian_smashWe travelled in a group of 6 people and had booked 4 rooms. All rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable, and had hot shower. The hosts were very welcoming, hospitable and will go out of their way to make our stay pleaant and comfortable. The husband helped carry our bags to the rooms (first and second floor). He drove us to and from the entrance of the valley. He even drove me to the post office as it was located in a back street and spoke to the staff there to make sure my item is sent to the correct address. While waiting downstairs, we were offered tea, coffee and snacks. On the first night she took us to a restaurant and helped us with our order. She even double checked the bill such that we are not over charged. She helped us with drying our clothes. She also helped me by calling the hotel of my next destination so that transfer could be arranged. Lastly she also arranged the transfer for us back to Shangrao station because cab drivers from the station seem to be careless, overtaking on corners and texting and talking non stop on their mobile whilst driving: I do not recommend using cabs from Shangrao station!!!! We were very grateful to have met oneone who helped made our stay very pleasant, comfortsble, and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place and i shall stay there again should I come visit Wangxian valley again.

An ego friendly green environment, surprises you with disposable towels and high tech systems like the toilet with auto system also using voice command to switch on electronic items. and projector instead of Tv.
Full of community spirit in these places all the neighbours are friends and enjoy their kindness very family oriented, make us want to come back again with a bigger group of friends.

MMcCotterEverything was great! The owner was very communicative on WeChat and let me check in early, which was amazing. The room was perfect, was super clean, and had everything I needed! The location was great, and I was able to walk to the scenic area in 40 minutes. The owner picked me up, helped me arrange my bus to Huangling the next morning and drove me to the bus stop. He is very kind! I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting!

LLiuhaifeiWhen we arrived in Huangling we called the hotel and within minutes the owner arrived (husband) to show us to the hotel (follow him if you are driving) which is just a 1 min drive away from the B cable car (use this cable car to go to the top - the A cablecar only goes to halfway up). He also took our luggage up to the 4th floor.
The room was a good size, very clean and in excellent condition and had the usual amenities. Here are my ratings for the usual important provisions :
Cleanliness (bed, sheets, room, bathroom) : ‘A’ everything was very clean and new
Hot Water : ‘A’ (as much as you want, very clean and hot)
Breakfast : Bento style. It was OK though for Chinese tastes rather than Westerners.
Friendliness : ‘A++’ the husband and wife owners were so lovely and kind. They were very helpful and friendly and very generous, even providing us with a small food gift when checking out.
Location : ‘A’ it is just a 1 mins drive, or 5 mins walk, from the B cable car (the best one) !
Services : ‘A’ when we wanted to visit different places in the area / or get picked up to return to the hotel, the husband was just a call away - even when his car had a flat tyre he found another means of transport to collect us !
We really enjoyed staying at this hotel and I have no hesitation in recommending it. We will stay there again when we next visit Huangling !

YYuenWe came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages.
We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too!
Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms.
It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained.
I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me!
The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain.
This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.

GGuest UserDisappointing stay here. We had no choice but to extend our stay because it was Chinese new year and very difficult to find another place to stay and also my husband was sick so we had to change our plans and stay an extra night so he could rest.
The place smelled like smoke everywhere. We have a baby with us and wanted a smoke free place. Despite the signs in the lobby saying No Smoking, people were smoking there and the front desk people didn’t care. The towels in our room had ashes on them and smelled like smoke. They were also ripped and badly needed to be replaced. (We got a smoke free room and learned on our trip that all they do for smoke free rooms is open the windows to air it out before you arrive. 🤦🏻♀️)
There was insufficient toilet paper when we arrived and although they did provide more when we asked it was just inconvenient. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to find somewhere else to put the roll of toilet paper. The sink leaked and it was supposed to be a dry washroom which is one of the reasons why I booked the place but turned out to be a wet washroom. Incredibly inconvenient with a baby.
The shower drainage was missing a cover and it didn’t feel safe for my child when showering because her little feet could get stuck inside it.
One of the days we needed to rest a little longer and the housekeeper asked us when we were leaving so she could clean our room. We said we needed 2 more hours (around 2pm) she kept trying to peer inside our room and said she wanted to get off work early. I found that incredibly rude. I understand it’s CNY and you want to go home early but that’s not something you should say to a guest who paid to stay at the hotel. Front desk people also did not seem friendly. Never saw any of them smile. We obviously don’t speak Chinese fluently and they laughed at us when they couldn’t understand us and wasn’t helpful in any way.
Overall, not a very pleasant stay. Would not stay here again.

The facilities in the room are okay, but I don't think they meet the five-diamond standard. The carpet and small sofa are a bit dirty. The breakfast buffet was quite satisfactory. The tickets and other activities provided with the group purchase coupon are reasonably priced. The night view of the scenic spot is still very beautiful. It is very ordinary during the day and there are really many people at night.
