Jin Jiang Inn(Shantou Small Park store) Reviews

Price is good but it can not justify the dirty washroom and the flooring. We don't feel comfortable staying there and try not to touch anything.

We all together 3 couples checked in 3 hotel rooms at Jinjiang Inn at Shantou 20-22 Dec 2023. We should thumbs up to the on-duty gentleman/manager with a technician who offered his kind service to open up a faulty locked travel baggage belonged to our team-mate after we checked in. Although the hotel is not in the busy city center, it is near to public bus stations for 10 minute ride to Shantou famous old business district /小公园 packed with visitors . We also found that the stall opposite the hotel offered delicious braised pork at very reasonable prices ! Also, we are thankful to the young lady on-duty at the reception for her quick response to our request for a SUV that took us to Chaozhou on 22 Dec. The decent Chinese breakfast at the hotel was acceptable if not compared to 4/5-star rated. Overall we were happy during our stay at Jinjiang Inn Shantou

Very helpful reception, unable to book their local DiDi,and they will help to accomplish it, hotel location is splendid as it near to 小公园，and surrounding the area there’s lot of local food , taste and price is so local! Super highly recommended!!!

When I made the order, I felt that the price was extremely low. But I still placed an order for this chain brand, mainly because it is very convenient nearby. You can reach Wuji Xinghua just across the bridge, and Baheli is also very close to the beef that is a must-eat in Shantou. And the nearby public transportation is also very convenient. Shantou is not big, and it only costs more than 10 yuan to go anywhere, or the public transportation is very convenient. The hotel is indeed a bit too old, the facilities are a bit outdated, and the bathroom water is not very smooth. But the services of chain brands are still there, at least they can be kept clean, and you can’t ask for too much at such a low price.

The room is small, the walls are moldy, the facilities are old, the service is poor, and the breakfast variety is pitiful.

This hotel was truly the worst failure of my entire trip! To be honest, the location is pretty good. It should be considered the old town of Shantou. It is very close to Xinghua Wuji, only about a seven-minute walk; it is about one kilometer away from the small park/Shantou Museum/Yaqiang Juice Main Store. . but! The hotel's facilities are really, really, really good! And it doesn’t feel very clean. There are still broken hairs on the floor. The bathroom partition curtains are moldy. The curtains also feel dirty. The windows are broken and can’t be closed. The gauze curtains are also broken. The corridor outside the room smelled bad. . . The photos sent by the store are really the same as the actual room, but it is also dark and the lights are warm and dim. The whole feeling is like going back to the 1980s and 1990s. . I don’t know if it’s the weather or the fact that the room I’m staying in doesn’t get any sunlight. It’s dark when I open the curtains, and it’s dark when all the lights in the bathroom are turned on. I hope this store can improve the lighting in the future. . . If you have other choices, try not to come to this hotel. . . In addition to the good price and breakfast, it may be that you really get what you pay for. . . .

Clean, comfortable, attentive service. There is also a buffet breakfast. The girl at the front desk was very friendly. Both sides of the bus stop are densely packed with bus routes, which is great! If you take a taxi, it is almost the starting price to go to various places, which is extremely convenient! It only costs 14 to 16 to go to Wanda and MixC. And there are three different brands of shared electric vehicles at the entrance of the hotel that can be scanned and ridden, which is extremely convenient! Especially in such a location, it can still give such a cheap price! It even provides a buffet breakfast! My God! What else can I say about this～～😘😘😘Love it! There is a rice noodle shop, a fruit shop, a pig's trotter rice, and a convenience store across the road from the hotel, which is very convenient. When I saw those bad reviews before booking, I was wondering, it’s impossible, Jinjiang Star can’t be like this. But when I arrived and took a look, I immediately understood... Please... Either the competitors deliberately made bad reviews due to vicious competition, or the people have hardly traveled... It depends on the situation if they are pretentious... 😂Everything they provide is very standard, in a very expensive scenic area, and the room rate is 100 yuan, isn’t that enough? They can’t possibly lose money to provide the facilities of a luxury suite😂😂😂😂, the buffet breakfast alone is worth more than 40 yuan.

Conveniently located in the city, not expensive, easy to find things to eat, there are buses passing in front of the hotel.

It takes 10 minutes to walk to the famous Xinghua Wuji Beef Hotpot. Disadvantages: The lobby is clean, but the hygiene of the room is not very good. After sleeping for a day, I found blood on the pillow. Sigh😮💨 I have seen others encounter this before, but I didn’t expect it to happen to me this time, and it is still in Jinjiang Star. There are a lot of hairs on the shampoo tray, and a small amount of toothpaste left by the previous guests. I asked the front desk to clean it, but it was still the same when I came back. What should be cleaned was not cleaned. The nozzle of my water flosser was wrapped in a paper towel and placed on the sink, but the cleaning staff threw it away. It was too careless.

The room is a bit small, but everything else is OK. You have to go downstairs to get the takeaway, which is a bit inhumane
